  • I wonder why Beverly Glen has never gotten their just due for being a great soul label. They had some classics in the early 80's.

  • I really like this by JT. But he looks so much like Lamont Sanford from Sanford & Son.

  • Thanks a lot. Now I actually remember watching the video with Norman Jay in it.

  • SOUL MUSIC SUPREME!

  • I like the look of the Nolan Porter album in the background.

  • Oh good, what a great record, even with the jumping it reminds you of how fab this is...and pretty much no-one amongst my friends appreciates it. Him and Bobby Womack...tey have more soul in their little finger than the entire top 50 has in their whole bodies. And how great to see that gorgeous brown Beverley Glen label. I love BG records - they really believed in the music.

  • IT DOES NOT MATTER WHO YOU ARE WHERE YOU CAME FROM. SOUL MUSIC IS UNIVERSAL. IT EXPRESSES LOVE AND COMPASSION. THIS LOVE IS NOT THE SAME ANYMORE, IT'S LIKE IT'S BEEN LOST IN TIME. THEY SAY THAT WE NEED REMINDERS OF THE PAST TO KEEP US FROM REPEATING IT. BUT WHEN IT COMES TO MUSIC, SOUL MUSIC TAUGHT US HOW TO LOVE ONE ANOTHER THROUGH SONG. WHERE HAS THIS GONE TO? WHEN OUR WORLD IS GROWING COLDER DAY BY DAY WE REALLY NEED THIS MUSIC TO TEACH US HOW TO LOVE AGAIN

    CAN I GET A WITNESS?

  • god,i need a weekender.
