@mobius1aic Ah, ha, lol, now I get it, I recognized his voice but couldn't figure out who he was, lol. But on the other hand I've not seen many other movies of him when he was young, and I'm not sure if I've ever seen him past middle age. So I guess I never was sure what color his hair was until now, in the prime of his life, evil, lol. No but this movie really does something to you, or at least me, I start getting evil, evil Ranfield lol.
@3investigators Eh, I remember reading a book titled the thief lord its relatively new but it has a merry go round that operates exactly like this one but that's just from the top of my head. I think I've read a few other books that have merry go rounds that operate in this fantasy type manner as well as movies but if you ask me the people who made this stuff most likely got this idea from some relatively old novel or play that no ones ever heard about but who knows maybe its just a coincidence.
I love Mr.Dark.

This is really pushing the "Gingers have no souls" thing xD
Seriously, though. That kid is scarier than Damian from 'The Omen.'

Must say, Jonathan Pryce as Mr Dark has quite the presence. I want his suit.

How come in most movies or literature merry go rounds has the cliche of somehow letting people mess with the aging process? Lolz

@Valikiyro That's interesting. Can you name some other movies and novels that use this device?
