It's a USPSA type match. I highly recommend them, both for good training and practice in using your gun, and especially for sheer fun. LOTS of fun.
The gun is my Springfield Armory XD9 subcompact. Most folks shoot these matches with full sized guns, many with so called "race guns," but the little XD is my every day carry gun, and works just fine. There is much to be said for shooting what you actually carry, and scoring well with a little gun just adds to the satisfaction :)
