You may think that the Amish just make quilts, bake breads and make homemade jams. And I'm sure that some of them do.

Some of them also do something else. They mill dogs and puppies in the worst of the worst ways.

He's in a tripod deer stand. Obviously hunting deer along a treeline/open field border. Deer tend to live where there is food and cover. Amish love to hunt and the "rifle" is not a modern technological device. Daniel Boone used a rifle to also hunt, known as the Pennsylvania Long Rifle(not the Kentucky Rifle).

Our neighbor always used the shotgun on the coyotees and raccoons when they tried to get into the chicken coop or get her ducks,geese or guinea. The predators bring the nightmares so some stay up at night.
