When you raced it, Tim, it had only 110bhp - now it has 200!!! Unfortunately the suspension is still near standard, so alarming on corners in racing - but nice and comfy on the road. :) It still has the occasional outing.
ouch tim - that car has a fair bit of grunt - no wonder I had trouble with you at silverstone (and other places) many years ago. but we managed to have a good close race without any grief. Tim Martin, ex slick-50 saloons number 83 - silver and later white Golf Gti (after the silver one got stacked at ...yes Mallory!
Used mirrors, kept to right, faster cars closing- well before the corner, so didn't study. Hit was a blur, and heading for armco required attention! Getting the car fit to drive home more important than finding blue paint on a car. Study video before 3:01 for suspects though. Pug(first bit) stupidly stays on track edge AND in blind spot. Can't I take the corner? Used to trust guys behind-no more. As said in dragon's den-I'm out. Unnecessary costs, work+maybe injury. Terrible carnage to others.
The car that hit you turned into on the first start wasnt the car that biffed you on this video. You can see this as: at 3:01 the 106 goes past. If you were using your mirrors, you should be able to tell which car hit you!! the same way you would have noticed there was a car on the inside at the esses on the first start!!
I was in the Clan and would presume you are referring to the car that hit you to start the incident that caused the race stoppage. From the second race incident I assume it was the same car that hit you again at virtually the same place. From the way he drove I doubt he would be safe on a playstation.
