  • This sounds a little odd around 1:53. That's where the high g3 should be and this instrument doesn't have a g3. Interesting arrangement and I almost missed it.

  • @werderwayne I'm glad that you notice the arragement. I Think that Scarlatti would aprove this kind of pragmatical solution.

  • @XVIIIMusica You did a great job arranging it. I was wondering how you were going to fit this piece in without a g3. I don't think that Scarlatti would complain. It is difficult to find Instruments with the high g.

  • errata: bem feiTa :)

  • @XVIIIMusica Entendi :)

  • Annoying ass song, I hate it because its Louis XIV's theme song in Civ IV and hes a friggin bastard

  • I appreciate the work that has gone into this excellent film. Bravo! - John Austin, Australia

  • Great job! And by the way, isn't this the instrument that this song is originally supposed to be played on?

  • It is, even if this one is not a copy of an italian harpsichord, like Grimaldi's, that could be what Scarlatti originally thought his sonata for. By the way, good work and YouTube needs serious approaches like this one is, instead of all those annoying pianos!! ;-)

  • I agree brother, the piano ones need to go! LOL! :P

  • Excellent!

  • Superb!!!

  • Top Stuff

  • BRAVO! That was wonderful! Can I be your page turner? ^__^

  • Thank you very much,

If one i will have the honor to play in Scotland I will apreciate your help as page turner.

    Gretings to the Highlands.

  • That would be wonderful! I hope you come to Scotland one day. I will be in the front row!!

  • A french Harpsichord I presume?

  • Yes, This a copy of a 1733 Blanchet Hapsichord by Reinhardt Von Nagel 1991 Paris.

  • Interesting ! I know Scarlatti's sonatas were originally wrtten for harpsichord but never heard any of them performed on one. Very cool !
