Let's get this straight. Nani flicked the ball off two defenders, body fake another defender and he chips the ball. What next? Nani's chip might not went inside if not for Almunia palming the ball in. But you have to give the credit to Nani, even if Almunia decides to not attempt the palm the ball away, Park Ji Sung was already there, like a cat ready to pounce. This whole affair or own goal or not. I think Nani doesn't care. If he think it's his goal, then it's his.

The new regulation for deciding between an own goal and a goal is if the player who concedes the own goal makes contact with the ball to make it enter the goal from a previously 'not goal bound' state. So it was Nani who scored.

thing about nani is he was shadowed by ronaldo when ronaldo was at man u, now that ronadlo is gone nani can now get the ball more and he has more chances to cross and shoot unlike back when everything was played tru ronaldo plus he has been playing very good of late ( GOAL AGAINST ARSENAL <3 ) and if he keeps it up he will get alot more time to prove why freguson bought him ( i spelt alot of things wrong kinda in a rush)

What you do on the streets simply will not work on the pitch, especially in the Prem. The defender won't just stand there and let you piss-take him. He'll mark you and deprive you of space. Hence Nani reverts to a style which focuses more on close control which will pay dividends for him.
