  • If it only cools 30 degrees F, you couldn't use it for food in the summer, and your drinks would get pretty warm. Good idea and a good start tho.

  • wow a peltier cooler with a tiny solar panel.. not the best system.. with such a small panel it wont give you much, would cost way to much for the gains

  • will this keep meat/milk? how long? I too need something like this for island camping. At $30/day in ice (we use 2 coolers - one for drinks, one for food), $250 is a deal. Not to mention keeping food longer (no water log).

    What warranty do you offer? How long does the unit last?

  • The thing these green weenies DON"T TELL YOU IS: this PLASTIC COOLER was made from petroleum/oil products. My termos keeps my coffee/hot chocolate at the right temperature for a LONG time
