Ur a bunch of panzys. Sit on you computer and watch this. The drivers r fine go to a race and enjoy the excitement. This is what sells tickets no gocarts people want to see near misses and crashes hence the demo derby. The cars have plenty of safety in the for a serious crash. More then little jr on a gocart.

wow you guys need to look up the speedrome sometime then you will really see some figure 8 racing they have a three hour figure 8 enduro and everytime a car wrecks they add one in

@chargerfish1 they pretty much only happen at tracks like 0.4 miles or smaller. I personally prefer traditional oval or road racing.... but figure 8's are cool to watch once in a while. There's actually not as many wrecks as you would think. The drivers usually stop at the X if there is cars passing through already, or at least slow down and take evasive maneuvers.

And ironically, we won the championship in 1998 and the #13 was our car then.

Cost us $5,000 to fix the #8. We won the track point championship with it in 2006. It was the red and white #00 last season.

Those are some expensive pieces of equipment to be doing a figure 8 race. normally i see it with full frame junkers, not tube chassis stock cars.

in NH in Hudson at Hudson speedway we use to have fiqure 8 races intil some one got hit so hard that they broke 4 ribs there arm and had a concussion

i went to the track for saturday night racing. they had truck enduros, blunderbusts, v8 enduros, and figure 8. there was a bad crash in the intersection. a car that was damaged was really slow, and he didnt make it through the X when he got t-boned by one of the leaders. really hard impact. took forever to clean up those 2 cars and like 3 others that piled in. no one was hurt tho

ive been hit like that myself but my pc wouldnt let me slow it down so that i could see which car it was i run enduros and got hit drivers doorat race speed coming off the straight the guy that hit me was worried and stopped and checked on me that was a hard hit
