  • Russia today is pure propaganda. Nobody takes it seriously.

  • At least they tell facts, unlike your fucking Rustavi, which only tells us about Saaka's erotic fantasies.

  • @ketieB - You're 100% correct. I think anyone with even half of a brain knows its nothing more than a joke. Pure propaganda at its best - yet for some reason there is no shortage of fools in Russia to believe it.

  • The Russian government has already poured more than $100 million into Russia Today, prompting charges that Kremlin sponsorship affects its coverage. Andrei N. Illarionov, a former adviser to Mr. Putin and now one of his critics, last year called the channel Russias best propaganda machine for the outside world.

  • fuck russian pigs!!!

  • If it was any civilized, Western country at war, the demonstrators would be out in force already - but not in Russia.

Most Russians believe whole heartedly that the world is against them, that the global media tells lies about them, their own media tells only the truth and that "de facto president" Putin is a hero on the scale of Peter the Great...

...which obviously couldn't be further from the truth.

  • Shumeshi, you are quite mistaken.

NATO was created during the Cold War, and this was not against Russia, but against the Soviet Union and its threat on independent nations.

I consider the entire civilized world: United States, Canada, all of Europe, Australia, and all of their allies.

This makes up 80% of the world powers and economies, and also makes up 99% of civilized society.

  • Russia claims that President Saakashvili started the war on August 8th by invading Georgias own territory of South Ossetia:

On Sept. 3, Krasnaya Zvezda, the official newspaper of the Russian Defense Ministry, published an article in which a captain in the 135th Regiment, Denis Sidristy, said his unit had been ordered to cease a training exercise and move to Tskhinvali on Aug. 7.

The next week, the captain changed his statement and claimed the date was August 8th.

  • waxaxaaaaaaaaa. As Russian brain, Russian ship is left in middle ages lol :)))))))) So ridiculous comparing to Dallas and MCfaul :))))))))) As for Russian government, it's much more ridiculous. While Georgia was hosting Nato, Lavrov was meeting with criminal Saparatists. lol :))))) Keep up the ,,good'' job assholes...

  • So America still has B52 so what? Ever bothered to check when that plane was designed? And don't talk about Russian brain and all that, that's not even a stereotype, what the hell, if you said vodka and bears I'd understand, but brain? It's the Americans that are the stupidest nation on Earth, that's a well documented fact man, what are you talking about.

  • Shumeshi, unlike in Russia, the date of design doesn't mean anything in the United States.

Every single piece of American equipment contains state of the art technology and state of the art capabilities.

No country is going to design new military hardware every year that costs billions of dollars. Design is made intelligently and upgraded when necessary.

  • It's obvious nobody left the Black Sea and now Russia is trying to act like everything is ok.

The Moskva looks like the used toilets the Russians were stealing in Georgia, when compared to modern American and NATO ships.

  • If U.S. is in the Black Sea, why can't Russia be there?

  • Shumeshi, Russia is there, and they have more ships than anyone else.

If it wasn't for Sochi which Russia took from Georgia, and now Abkhazeti which Russia occupies this Georgian territory, Russia would have no access to the Black Sea.

  • And did I say they don't have ships there? Who do you think should have more ships there?:)

  • Only Russia recognizes independence, not the world. Abjhasia is now a new province of russian

  • Abkhazia and South Ossetia are not parts of Russia, even according to Russia. They were recognized as independent states. And now Russia is about to start diplomatic relations with them. And not only Russia recognized their independence. NATO and EU are not "the world". Many countries just don't care, and no one's asking their opinion anyway, some are in favour, some are against. Do you think EU gives shit about Georgia? They don't speak in favour just 'cause U.S. is their very important partner

  • Don´t worry about americans, they believe they own the world, and that keeps them walking with false confidence hehehehe.

BTW, who the fuck recognize Kosovo? EU and NATO, who da fuck else? No one.

  • brunocomolli, the entire civilized world has recognized Kosovo, and thats all that matters.

You keep your close ally Syria, you might need those terrorists to go on vacation to the desert one day.

  • Oh, so that's how it is, the entire civilized world recognized Kosovo? So it's ok when international law gets broken but civilized countires approve, but since Russia is not one of them, they can't do shit? No more questions.

  • What do you mean with civized? I don´t think the entire world is U.S and the rest of NATO.

In fact I really believe that U.S can not be considered as civilized country doing whatever they want in the entire world. But it´s just my point of view and I respect yours.

    But not your gov. :)

  • brunocomolli, thats just your crooked Russian view of the world.

Terrorist Muslim countries like Syria, are not civilized. They hang women for being rape victims and behead people for speaking their minds.

Yes, I consider, America, Canada, all of Europe, Australia, and Japan to be the civilized world.

Russia is not civilized. There was mass murder and ethnic cleansing in Kosovo, and Russia supported it.

Those stories about Georgia comitting "genocide" were branded a LIE by Humans Rights & UN.

  • Just one more thing,

America is a continent not a country.

Have you ever been is Russia? I was there in May and I´going back there in November and let me tell you something feel more comfortable in Russia than in the U.S.

    Just a poin of view.

Don´t you consider a mass murder what U.S army is doing in Irak or Aghanistan? There are no differences between killing a georgian civilian and a civilian from Afghanistan, both have the same rights. But it seems not for the U.S army and their goals

  • I lived in Moscow for a long time. Better than the U.S.?? You must be nuts.

Youre comparing Georgian civilians with Afghanistan "civilians"??

Those same Al-Qaeda in Afghanistan who killed thousands upon thousands of people in America on 9/11? Those same Taliban who strap bombs to their chests and blow up their own people, children and women?? Good work...

"The America" is not a continent. There is North America, Central America, and South America...but this isn't 2nd grade geography.

  • I´m sorry but you don´t seem to understand russian people at all, they are absoletely different from us. I was grow up in the western world jut like you and I consired that Russia was the bad guy, until I got there and I discovered a beautiful country and lovely people.

    I mean civilians not terrorists.

And please don´t forget that U.S gvt supported Al-Qaeda in the 80´s during the Soviet "crusade" in Afghanistan.

Do you know the concept of "Blowback" ? I bet you know.

    1.00 gotta sleep!

  • I agree with you. I lived in both worlds and I can say that no one knows sh*t about the other country. I react just as bitterly when a Russian starts talking about "the west" and he doesn't know what the heck he's talking about. By the way it's a big mistake to connect actual PEOPLE with politics. Even in democracy-free U.S. people don't go and vote every time gvmnt wants to do something. You don't have any control, it's the big guys in charge that decide.

  • Shumeshi, youre right, connecting people with politics is not right. However almost every single Russian I speak to, support that genocidal maniac Putin 100%.

Putin could drop a nuke on Poland tomorrow, and majority would agree with him. They are like sheep.

  • You think he's a maniac, others think differently, and who's right? We've seen much bigger maniacs:) Some people believe 9/11 was prepared by U.S. gov., what kind of sick maniac is Bush then? Just about anyone I know thinks Bush is an idiot, what's better, an idiot or a maniac?

And it's not true that he can drop a nuke on Poland and everyone would support, that's just not right, you think too bad about Russian people. And you say you lived in Moscow, comon man, we ain't bad people.

  • Shumeshi, Putin has massacred over 200,000 innocent Chechens, being killed even today, and has assassinated numerous journalist critics and political opponents. Politikovskaya was even cynically murdered on Putins birthday.

Now Putin has an aggressive policy of war against Russian neighbors, and is attempting to annex foreign territory.

To claim 9/11 was staged by Bush is not only insane, but an utterly pathetic claim.

  • Well insane or not, but everything is possible, however insane it may be. It's always bad when innocent people die and let's not look at just one side of the coin, U.S. is killing civillians just as well. I don't know the numbers and it's not really appropriate to count who killed more and to say that they're worse. No one has good enough reasons for doing that.

Ahh... Let's just wrap up with this never ending conversation. I wish you all the best.

  • @Iverielii Ummm Putin rebuilt Russia, thats why Russians like him? Where big corporations buy up US Presidents, they try with Putin and get nothing but a steel door in their face

This is why leaders love Putin

Putin is no more genocidal than Bush or Obama (with his ability to assisinate American Citizen SWEET)

  • @mattmatt115 - LOL, you're far too ignorant to even respond to. sad.

  • brunocomolli, Al-Qaeda didn't exist when the Soviet Union invaded Afghanistan and started to slaughter defenseless resident by the thousands.

Know your facts. Osama bin Laden formed Al-Qaeda after the withdrawal of Soviet forces.

  • Shumeshi, nobody in the world recognizes Russias attempt at annexation of Georgian territory. And I dont count Nicaragua as anyone...lol

Even your so called Russian "allies" deserted you on this matter because everyone knows Russia fucked up. Not to mention broke numerous international laws.

Putin the genocidal maniac will take all of his Russian supporters with him to the grave. Actually Russians always switch loyalty at the last second.

  • some big words you got there, genocidal maniac, eh? I can call Bush names too, but what's the use? Russians switch loyalty? And who is loyal to them?! Who wanted Russia to be a better country before this happened? Who cared?! U.S.A.? Please. There's no loyalty between nations. Why did EU not empose any punshmet on Russia, becasue they want peace and friendship? B.S.! They said it themselves, they depend on the oil and gas. U.S. is one big fish in NATO, how can anyone say anything against?

  • Russia will pay high price for rejoinig 2 regions. Keeping 2 weak economy republics will be very costly. RU 44X smaller budget with huge army in war is recipe on RU stock market tragedy we see.All citziens will feel it soon in wallets. No one will threat Ru miliary. They will pay economic prise for braking internt. law and all criminal acts leading strickly to rejoinng Georgian provinces. PUTIN using military force besides peacefull economy way to join these region prooved RU big economy weaknes.

  • Nah, looks like everyone has economical problems nowdays, no one gives damn about Georgia anymore, it's not even in the papers.
