A few weeks before the murders one of the 8 year old victims, Chris Byers, ran to his mother & told her that a "strange man dressed in black" had pulled into their driveway in a green car, got out with a camera & took his picture, then drove off quickly. Misskelley confessed that Echols had pictures of the 3 boys in a briefcase. Echols was overheard confessing to the murders & stated "I'm going to kill 2 more and I already have one of them picked out." Whose modus operandi is this? WM3 R GUILTY!
The West Memphis 3 were convicted because, in one form or another, all 3 had confessed to the crimes. Also, there was significant evidence that similar type crimes were talked about & planned beforehand. Add to that, several witnesses placing them in the area, multiple witnesses hearing their admissions, the fiber evidence linking 2 of the suspects, Echols mental history, the lake knife, flimsy alibis & behavior during the trial. Many things convicted these 3. Some may be discounted. Not all.
Not 1, not 2, but 3, count them, 3 people say that Baldwin cut the penis and balls off 8 year old Chris Byers. Hurst stated Echols told him Baldwin severed the boys penis then "dangled it around and laughed". Carson testified Baldwin confessed to him and said "he put the balls in his mouth and sucked the blood out of the penis" and Damien did the same. Miskelley confessed 3 times to the above, once with his lawyers present. You want to support the WM3? Ok. I support Chris, Mike and Stevie. RIP
@ThirdConfession This doesn't sound far fetched to you at all? A dramatization brought about by the times, and the publics fear and fascination with devil worship in the 1990's? Facts need to be examined, not hearsay. What about the DNA found at the scene of the crime? The documents you are referring to, simply aren't real. It's too easy to jump on a bandwagon for one side or another without doing your research. I suggest you look into this further if you insist on placing an opinion.
@Jray118 Further, Miskelley is mentally handicapped. Statistically, this makes him more likely to be pushed into a false confession. Especially after 10+ hours of interrogation, none of which were documented or recorded. So clearly again, the documentation you referred to initially is discredited.
@Jray118 jessie misskelly was only interrogated for 4 hours. go to callahan.8k.com and you can see that they have documented the time from when he got there and then left with police to get permission from his father to take a polygraph and speak w/out a lawyer up untill the time he confessed and it comes to about 4 hours. please quit spreading false information to ppl, most have already been confused by the documentaries they dont need anymore help.
The 3 killers are in jail where they belong. Misskelley's 3rd confession to "get the complete truth out" in spite of his defense attorneys begging him not to do it is all the proof anyone who is sane should need and is why, even with a retrial, these 3 will never go free again. @the3rdconfession Jessie was confused and terribly naive and had no idea his attorney was there to help him. He was told he would get what he wanted, to go home, to be free, etc. if he confessed. He was bullied, threatened and given information for over 10 hours. There was public information about the crime when he was coerced in addition to them leading him with info by feeding him the times and his statement DOES NOT support the PHYSICAL EVIDENCE!! The real killer will be brought to justice.
If I was me, and I am just me. I dont';t think after 16 yers of a murder confict would I hire any one of these pure degnerates...
