@slimyesli Izzy's still got the same vibe in his music as from Appetite. Song structures & pacing is very similar in his solo albums. Duff continues to come up with some of the best bass lines.

Steven Adler's drumming in Adler's Appetite is still very much like Appetite for Destruction. And Axl's lyrics in songs like Rhiad and Scraped are similar to what you'd expect in Appetite.

Nothing against slash, I just meant that Tracii had a bigger impact than people think on that album.

To be more specific, the origonal band was calles A.X.L, then Axl quit. Axl came back later and asked to rejoin the band, but Izzy insisted if he rejoined the band, they change the name to Rose. They played a few gigs, but they didn't want to be confused with Rose Tatoo, so they changed the name to Hollywood Rose

Also! Guns N' Roses was a completely Axl's idea. One night he took the names and decided to start his own band, bringing izzy in and then recruiting, and it just happened that Tracci, rob, and Ole form L.A. Guns joined in. So the name wasn't from the bands joining, the bands joined after.

Actualli, this doesnt sound punk or metal, like some queers say, this actually sounds like real rock n roll, raw & pure. Guns n roses was a lot more polished than this, so it sounds awesome at the ear of everyone. And LA GUNS are awesome too, polished but with that something special that makes them sleaze... I love both bands anyway!
