@Booze129 not to much in Toronto back then??? the el mocambo, massey hall, larrys hidaway, the concert hall, danforth theatre, lee's palace, colonial tavern , the gasworks, queensbury arms, rock & roll heaven, silver dollar, the 360, nags head north, etc. etc. seems u needed to get out more, lol.
@manhuntruler2 well since he's probably the hardest hitting drummer I've ever seen, any piece of hardware he was using was probably prone to break at any moment. he punched right through his snare head during his first show with nirvana!
@MLplayer78 Is having a drummer who is very "Loud" ever a bad thing? I've been in a few bands and i was the loudest sometimes. and they all complained about it, but the audience never did lol
But to Nirvana, Dave being Loud on the drums was a great and needed thing for their music.

Awesome! Please tell me you have the one from the Motorsports show in 1990. You know the one Dave Grohl came to in order to here the band he later joined.
at the The Opera House? well there was not to much in Toronto back then except the Old Maple Leaf gardens!

why is dave playing with the floor tom instead of the Hi-Hat?
manhuntruler2 2 months ago
@manhuntruler2 when dave played in nirvana he kept the beats the same, but he always experimented live.

@MLplayer78 oh i thought the Hi-Hat was broken or something..

@manhuntruler2 oh yeah, totally took them to the next level when he joined the band, though he wouldn't of ever admitted that i don't think
