  • Originally released in August 1947. In those days, they used the credit "In Technicolor", 'Paramount' ["Color by Technicolor" wasn't applied until late 1949]. :"I'm An Old Cowhand" was originally introduced by Bing Crosby in "Rhythm on the Range" (1936).

  • @fromthesidelines

You're right about this cartoon having the "In" tag, but the "Color by" one was used from some point in 1947 (see "Santa's Surprise"). Technicolor changed its tag again sometime in 1956-57 to "Technicolor®" (the changes applied to every studio, not just Paramount). The "In" tag was still used for Cine/PolaColor releases though.

  • Do you know the movie that this was in? there was a collection of these videos, i believe the video was called Sing-Along or something. Can someone help me find it please?

  • i love this its so cool wish the sound was better thanks forr posting it

  • You're wrong again. This is just a red NTA print with the NTA logo replaced with some Paramount mountain which wasn't used on cartoons. This copy is even missing the first

    "Paramount presents

    A NOVELTOON

    Color by Technicolor" title card.

BTW, there's nothing rare about this.
