  • Wow!!! I was at this game. I was 11 at the time. It was my first live MJ experience. The other two was when he played fro the wizards. Thank you for posting.

  • how can i watch this w/ sound?

  • Michael making a statement with a nice dunk and toying Brent Price...hahaha what a game.

  • Comment removed

  • That fist pump by Pippen at 6:21 on Jordans two handed dunk is priceless. That's love.

  • That fist pump by Pippen on Jordans two handed dunk is priceless. That's love.

  • I can not believe at 5:15, leave like a fool

  • simply the best

  • MJ and Pippen could just fly I dont think theyve come back to earth yet hahaha. simply the greatest

  • GOAT.

  • AT 5:14 THAT WAS SO EMBARISING

  • when mj did that dunk at 4:08 when he was walkin back to the beched he looked so serious.

MICHAEL JORDAN IS A COLD MOTHAFUCKA

  • 4:36 I just love Scottie's reaction to the MJ breakaway. He throws his fist before Michael even took off.. and then after the dunk he's like 'Woooh!!'

  • @baldheadkid yeah! that's a very beautiful dunk double side pump and knees bending..awesomely beautiful

  • Who loves the nba in the present?, I like the 90's also, but who likes the 2000

  • ESPN loves:))

  • plenty of people like the NBA now with the trades. it's the new golden age

  • @azn25centt this "new golden age" doesn't compare to Bird, Magic and Michael.

  • @thewolfmanchu Yeah I know. Those three basically revived and saved the NBA in the 80's. It'll be hard for any generation to really compare to the 80's. But thanks for your insight.

  • 3:59... I love crowd goes crazy every time when MJ is going for a poster!

  • Man the NBA was just way better in the 90's. It's like it was in it's prime and nowadays it just sucks just terrible reffing and so many other objections about it.

  • you are so right with dat statement

  • lol i bet if jordan shakes your hand he shakes ur forearm too

  • 5:19 is funny

  • 5.16 dummie

  • 5:14 smart ass

  • the only thing that would make this sweeter is if the play-by-play and color were by Steve Buckhantz and Phil Chenier.

  • Big Hands !!

  • Brent Price guarding Jordan??

What the hell was the Bullet's coach thinking?

  • I think Bullet's coach had run out of ideas. You can clearly see at the beghinning of the game it wasn't Price guarding MJ. And sometimes in numerious occasions, coachs put smaller guard on MJ try to match up MJ with speed and quickness or stronger guy on MJ to match up MJ with strength. For Example, Chris Child was guarding MJ in 1997 Bulls vs NY "the con" game. Or John Starks. Anthony Mason on MJ, Bulls vs Hornet 1998 playoff.

  • I was thinking the same thing dude, wtf?lol

  • nice job with editing clips, ty for posting! keeep'm coming!

  • I say that Jordan was at his best the he won tittles . 1991-93 ...1996-98

  • the bullets/wizards were idiots for letting rasheed wallace go and giving juwon howard the max instead. truly pitiful. these guys would suck ass today if it werent for gilbert arenas and caron butler.

  • What year was MJ at his best? 92 ?

  • 1987, 1991, 1996-98

  • dun forget the 1st triple 91~93

  • LMFAO @ 5:13

  • Rare stuff it truly is, the Bulls went a phenomonal 72 & 10 in that 95 / 96 season (that record might get beaten, but I doubt it).

You can see once Jordan gets in that mindset, there's no stopping him. The bulls were winning constantly, their confidence was sky high, they were unbeatable! knew it, played like it and that's why they went all the way.

Great stuff Hoops, thanks for the upload.

  • wallace a faggot i hate cocky fuckers like them, kobe does that shit sometimes too fuck him too, too many cocky son of bitches

  • call it what u want but don't call it what it ain't. if u call it what it ain't, ima call it what it is.

  • young sheed, c-webb, juwan could have been dominant for years with all the versatility.. unfortunately c-webb and juwan enjoyed the DC nightlife a little bit too much lol

  • only god can stop that

  • LOL!!

Notice at the 3:49 mark, Johnny "Redd" Kerr say: "Down on his ass..uh, seat of his pants.."

    LOL!! He caught himself!

  • what he did to price at 5:30, that wasnt very nice lol

  • 5:16 is the best!!! omg...

  • Best Mid Range jump shooter of all time...Period. This guy has the most complete game, and I do like this videos of him vs Current so called "Stars" like Rasheed and Steve Nash, Shaq, and KG. Because it shows how dominant he was against those players as well. And what is crazy is people this guy in this video is like 34 years old! ARE YOU KIDDING ME! The G.O.A.T without a doubt

  • Yeah man he is the G.O.A.T and dont be fooled by his age he was at his bes tregardless of what everyone says from 96 to 98. People dont realise that he chose to dunk less so he could dominate for longer than he played like he said when he retired at 35 with the bulls he could have played and led the league for another 4 seasons.

  • Better than Bird's?

  • mid-range...most definitely...did you watch the NBA in the 90's? How old are you?

  • Steve Kerr @ 2:33 is priceless LOL

  • nice to see sheeds enthusiasm in his rookie season with the nice throw downs

  • lol @ price

  • Gogo MJ with the 11's :)

  • i like classic bsketball rather than today, today u cant see anymore exciting moments like LB,MJ...and the whole legend.there so unique from me.they are the role model as a player from now a days.todays,very2 bad players.i dont like.there all faggots..

  • NBA today is so gay. All the tattoo faggots got no fucking skills. The game is so not the same anymore. What a SHAME!!!

  • jordan got better in 3s later on in his career

  • There are a lot of misconceptions about MJ's ability to shoot 3's in his early days. He didnt overshoot 3's like KB does that's why his % was poor for his 1st years. He had games where he shot once and stop. If KB took only one 3 per game his % would be pathetic too believe me. U just gotta watch his games to realise that

  • yes, 84 to 93 he wasnt a jump shooter, he was more of a slasher, thats why his percentage was so high cause all his shots were dunks or around the rim. but when he was hitting his perimeter shot thats when he put up those big point games. 96 to 98 is when jordan developed the fadeaway and became more of a jump shooter, this was to save energy and replace some of his lost athleticsism, and this is why he shot a lower percentage in his latter years.

  • WHat? No no no. His shots werent all dunks or around the rim from 84 to 93. He always had a jumper and he actually used it often during that period. He had a fadeaway ever since his rookie year. The idea he was just a dunker in his younger days couldnt be farthest from the truth. Its true that he attacked the rim more during that time but its wrong to say he only dunked or shot near the basket.

  • yo, thank you for posting the truth. Where do the young kids get this idea that Michael took everything to the basket. Look at hoopsencyclopedia's videos. Mike was and has always been a jump shooter

  • I just wanted you to know that he always had that fade away shot(80's). He jus used it a lot more later on in his career(90's).

  • That's correct, and for anyone wanting to see some proof of that take this video for example

    youtube . com/watch?v=sIAobQw8qwc

(delete the spaces before and after the dot)

The first game on that video is from MJ's rookie season agaisnt the Knicks. U can see 2 fadeaways there. Its also one of my favourite games from Hoops, he was so athletic and raw there.

  • Word. MJ even early on had a complete offensive game. He just didn't dunk. He did everything, which is why he was unstoppable. Midrange Js, slashing drives, power dunks, fadeaways, post-ups, up and unders, long bombs, moving without the ball, etc. People need to refresh their memories once in a while.

  • that is partly true but the other reason his percentage wasn't as hot as it could have been is because he would take most of them when there was no time on the shot clock. He would be forced by the defence with time running down to catch the ball out there. And becasue of the time would have to shoot it, and would make some tough ones too

  • wow rasheed wallace is here...

  • if kobe jumped from half court and and dunked it to finish with 102 points for the the champoinship in a game seven - and jordan picked his nose in the stands...jordans pick would outshine kobes moment in STYLE.

  • LOL

  • hahahah

  • that's fucked up

  • thats dumb!!!

  • Funniest thing I've read in a while... :D

  • @jjl51999 preeeeeaaaaaaaaaaach!!!!!!!!!

  • @jjl51999 Hahahahahaha. Funny as shit.

  • For all of Jordan's brilliance, I've got to rate Kerr's move as the best in this game :D

  • mj clowned dat dude so bad he had to foul him lmao

  • Another great trip down memory lane. Thanks Hoops. Besides watching the great MJ I also enjoyed some of the clips of the rookie Rasheed Wallace...

  • "This performance was sandwiched inside an 11-game span where MJ averaged 55.1% with a low of 50% and a high of 64.3% while scoring 27-48 points per game for a 36.2ppg average" Damn, that is insane.

  • thats tha best team eva!! the '96 bulls!!! hey this yrs celtics r nice!!

    check out that pippen dunk

  • i can't even tell if that's mike or kobe the quality is so crappy! just kidding, kobe is a worthless cockstain..

  • u are a fuckin infected cockroach

  • that is a legendary remark "funckin cockroach" I agree with everything you say form now on u r a living legend for that sentance

  • do u agree that u should learn 2 spell, moron

  • lol, nice hangtime move by Steve Kerr at 2:33!

  • I don't care what anyone says, this Bulls team was the best sports team of my lifetime. I understand the arguments about a weaker league, but they dominated so effortlessly. I watched most of their games and here's how they went: Bulls warm into the game, lead by 5-8 at halftime. Mid way through the third quarter, Bulls up by 27, MJ and Pippen icing on the bench.

  • wasn't 4:35 a touch foul. like in the NBA today.

  • Guess so, except that they call that foul a million times more today.

  • So beautiful to watch...

    MJ is basketball, period.

  • You see thats the difference between Jordan and Kobe. When Jordan did that break away dunk at 4:00, the crowd in Washington stood up and applauded even though Jordan was with the opposing team. Now when Kobe gets the ball and does anything he gets boos. Jordan was beloved by everybody, even on the road. Check out the videos when the bulls are on the road and see what i am talking about. Just something to think about.........Kobe Lovers

  • just like when Boston's crowd was calling Kobe "MVP MVP MVP MVP"

  • Oh I'm sorry........did I hit a nerve? Don't tell me I'm going to have to debate with another Kobe Lover

  • u have 2 die

  • do u remember bulls fans chanting Kobe's name earlier this season in a game when they were hoping to get him? He wasnt even on the court!

  • Yeah, but that has to do with the fact that the Bulls sucks so hard that Bill Wennington would be a great addition right now

  • they were around 50% by the time that was happening moron, and the fact they sux has nuttin to do wit it, it was the trade rumors, they were hopin to get a great player for a small price

  • Ok, but they still suck, in my opinion. Obviously you don't share that opinion and that's fine. I couldn't care less.

  • they suck big time but it has nuttin to do with it

  • Or also when Philly (where he was born) was booing him?

  • gotta love sheed as charles barkely said if sheed had the mind of a michael jordan or larry bird and he wanted 2 kill u every time he got the ball he could be the best player n bastketball 2day

  • Prime Michael Jordan would tear up today's league with the new soft rules..he'd undoubtedly be the best player today... especially with no hand checking

  • not to mention he was mentally stronger than any player today... Don't get me wrong KB's my favorite player today but some of you guys severely overrate him... Has KB had a season averaging 32 ppg, 8rpg, 8apg, 1 bpg, 3 spg, while shooting 54% from the field? Has he had a season even remotely close? Has he won an MVP or a DPOY award, let alone in the same season?

  • haha think whatever you think but please dont post bullshit like this. 1 on 1 in their prime and kobe wins? i guess you can probably beat mike too by the way you sound like. and how does the defense and athletes are on a different level? but you know you might be half right, it is on a lower level then before.

  • if you really think about what you just said. you will find what you said full of bullshit.

so sad people nowadays still dont realize how far away all these new stars are compared to mj.

  • if you see his rookie season games, mj is just so unbelievably calm and cool. always knows what he is doing. and ++ scoring ability anywhere within the 3pt line. and the pure athleticism, big palm, speed, and court vision, and of course the confidence. it is just more than any of the today superstars.

  • It's amazing how perfectly cleanly he reaches in all the way across Price's body to poke the ball away. You can see it really well at 4:32. Sick timing. Didn't touch Price's arm or body despite going at full speed.

  • Highest PPG average ever? Jordan. Highest PPG Playoffs average ever? Jordan. There are no facts to back your BS up. Statistically Jordan beats Kobe in almost every category! Especially scoring you twit.

  • Thanks so much for keeping doing such a great job. Today's NBA games are just like my name - game sucks. Your postings for Jordan's games are only reason for people like me to continue having feeling for b-ball.

  • Notice how he controls the ball on the fast break leading to the dunk. He palms it as if it was a volley ball. that dunk became a fixture of his in 1996. he would use it on the open court. love how pip gets all excited about mike's stuff

  • Notice the dunk on 4:37 the way MJ extends his arms out after dunkin. KB does it everytime he makes a two handed dunk. He studied MJ to exaustion lol

  • The difference wtih MJ is that he is a complete offensive player. He can drive, shoot the jumper, post up, moves without the ball,etc.. He does all those things well. And when I say well, I mean really well. You can't say that about Lebron, Kobe or any other heir Jordan. And I haven't even talked about the defense yet.

  • i miss these days

  • That is why Kobe masturbates watching MJ,his game is freaking beautiful! Todays NBA fans have their MJ in Kobe but he is a psycho that is fatally attracted by MJ and would rather die than admit it

  • lmao..longley was always trash..smh @ that miss

  • 2:36...steve kerr!!! The greatest move he has ever done!! That had to have made phil proud. Or angry. You cud never tell with that guy...

  • lol Steve trying his best to imitate MJ.

  • I wish they'd showed a damn replay! Kerr showin some secret hangtime...

  • he learned from the best

  • i love ball...basketball is the bewst thing on the planet....but the worst part is i wassn't old enough to understand it or watch it when MJ was playing!!!:(:( i cry myself to sleep cause of it...(Well i still have youtube :) )

  • Duuuude, I feel for ya, you missed out BIG time. It was a Main Event feel everytime the Bulls played. And they weren't always perfect, but had such a flow to the game.

  • Im not a bulls fan anymore so I dont care. I was a bulls fan untill MJ retired

  • nigga u wasnt a bulls fan u wer a jordan fan shut ur ass up man

  • I was a bulls fan when jordan played for dem so call it wut u want i don fuckin care aight

  • its seems like their playing at united center! LOL

  • I remember seeing the Jordan fake on Price @ 5:12 on the Bulls 1995-96 championship video! LOL! It never gets old!

  • love it to on the disc

  • 0:52 Michael's tradicional move on Red, gorgeous fadeaways and dunks, specially the breakaway at 4:01.

    5:14 well..That speaks for itself.

    Love this game

  • How many players would instinctively run the other way for the dunk after poking the ball out (before it was recovered by Kerr)? He saw that way before it happened.

  • 5:12  --> amazing

  • Once again, Hoops....:-)

Watching Jordan and Pippen go back n forth scoring against hapless defenders - it almost doesn't seem fair! lol And Rodman menacing on the inside...Damn, I miss those guys.

  • nice video man

  • I love MJ! you're right, today's NBA is boring.

  • so where was the dunk on muresan?

  • It just didn't happen because of the interior collapse whenever MJ did drive. I should have put in the attacks MJ did with Muresan's head in mind however.

  • one reason I dont watch NBA anymore. How can anyone live up to this man?

  • Nice one Hoops. I have this game too but with the commentary of the Washington crew. Redd Kerr's is much better.

    Jordan-Collector

  • go michael jordan you rock for 46 points.

  • LOL, can't believe this is called a "home crowd" :D

PS: Thanks, hoops....been checking your channel every day... finally!!!

  • @DalmX006 :

Yeah man, saw that clip once on CNN-World Sport....Never seen it since then. Wonder why it has never becoma famous. Ok, there's this space-poster from that dunk but it'S never been replayed...

  • Thanks so much hoops for this wonderful treat. I also check everyday for one of those MJ gems. Wouldn't you happen to have that game against Miami in 1996 where MJ went for a behind the back dunk. I remember being amazed at the time he could still get up that high at age 33 ?

  • lmao @ muresan's picture at the beginning. omg

  • The way in which Jordan scored was so effortless it was a pure joy to watch! I don't know about the rest of you but I am sick of hearing Kobe mentioned in the same breath as Michael! Kobe can score....that's it! He doesn't command his team, he doesn't inspire his team, he doesn't even lead his team, Kobe is in it for the Stats. Jordan was in it for the love of the game and the ultimate goal...the Championship! As a result...all the records came along the way aswell.

  • You're 100% correct. I know without a shadow of a doubt that MJ could have thrown down 100 ponints in a game if he really wanted to. But he didn't need to. He'd rather be a team player. Just look how great this Bulls team was. Kobe can only dream.

  • Team player? Dude had 2 assists! According to LeBron fans Jordan is a huge ballhog.

  • And that's BS about Kobe going for stats. Like Kobe doesn't want to win just as much as everyone else in the league. If he was going for stats he'd be averaging 35ppg right now. People like you are ridiculous. Right now and for the past 3 seasons, Kobe has been the only bright spot on his team. He has not had a supporting cast anywhere near as good as Jordan's Bulls. Remember Jordan in the 80's?

  • The reason Kobe isn't averaging 35ppg is because he can't. Funny I remember MJ averaging 32ppg and 8apg one year during the 80s. Kobe or Lebron do that? No!

  • According to Lebron fans? Since when did they become a credible source?

  • Never.;)

I'm just saying. Kobe won't be as good as MJ but people for some reason seem to think that he never passes or involves his teamates. He and Jordan's assist averages have been pretty much the same over their careers. They are shooting guards. That's what they do. Shoot.

  • Jordan has nearly an assist per game more than Kobe. That's not the same. Not to mention block, steals, rebounds, and points. How about shooting % and turnovers. But I'm sure Kobe is better because he scored 81 points against a really bad team once.

  • MJ has ~1 more assist (if you count the # of assists over a career, its staggering) while leading the league in scoring the whole time, while KB spent a good portion deferring to Shaq and lobbing him alley-oops but still comes up short.

  • and thats the truth. mike had passion

  • thanks a lot hoops great upload....man I´m checking out every day on youtube for your next video....NO CUESTION IN MY MIND: MICHAEL IS THE BEST EVER. I doubt if we will get to see something close....¿KB? a good player, but, please, no joke with this...he hasn´t even come close to the GOAT. greetings from spain (A gasol´s fan).

  • wow michael totally owned price at 4:08, he has such big hands he can palm the ball with such ease

  • Love the Jordan clips during the second comeback, I don't any athlete has ever done what he did. He rose to the top in the most dominant fashion. Left and then came back to re-establish his dominance. Even during his third comeback he was his still unconquerable self.

  • got the date of this, hoops?

  • This game was played on 1/15/96.

  • MJ, spectacular as always. Also, check out Scottie goin all the way at 1:33 (and Rodman's reaction). Gotta love the Bulls of the 90s.

  • oh wow, i remember that when he made Price Jr. look like a fool. danggg, just look at him.

  • No one... No... ONE could score like Michael and then get back on Defense and play the rock as hard as he could. NO ONE.

  • thank you alicia keys

    and yea ur right. but kobe's (a semi-distant) 2nd.

  • Kobe Bryant takes breaks from playing D all the time. Commentators and sports writers even make fun of him for it. And look at what he did during the playoffs when he barely scored at all and the Lakers let go of a 3-1 lead to the Suns and eventually lost.

  • then who's 2nd?

  • Kobe wouldn't even make my top 20.

  • Thats TEAM ball, thanks for the video

  • Superb game. Thx for posting

  • 5:14 = Iconic

  • if you are watching this video, take the 2 seconds to rate it. Throw this guy a 5 * for spending his spare time to put this together for us. Even if you didn't like the game, show a nice gesture and start giving youtube uploaders 5*'s for effort. Everyone, pitch in! Ive had my viewers rate my videos so high that they were in the youtube top 20 for "all" and #1 for sports, there is no excuse for this to NOT be #1....click away guys!

  • At the 1:59 mark you can see Jordan do the patented leg kick and hold on the follow through of his shot. Know who the ONLY other player in history to ever do that is? You guessed it -- rhymes with "show me." That's why it makes me laugh when people act like that dude didn't BLATANTLY rip off MJ's moves/mannerisms.

  • Yeah the difference is this, that certain player will do the same pose AFTER A MISS. One is a wanna-be, the other was the original. That's as simple as you can break that down. To be "like Mike" then you gotta think like Mike, have the same college coach as Mike, have the same heros as Mike (Connie Hawkins, Oscar Robertson, Dr J) these are guys who MJ 'copied'. Not just 1.

  • Oh yeah, and as far as emulating his heros, Jordan never tried to talk like any of them, or change his number like them, or hang his tounge out like him, or all of the other mannerisms that really turned me off to the guy as an individual. Im tellin you jordanlover23, it's a matter of time before people realize that this guy was just one of the many guys who try to be like Mike, and sometimes they look like Mike, but they can't be Mike 24/7, that's the separation, consistency.

  • lol not a big deal man. I've seen T-mac do the same thing. Its just an expression, not a blatant copy.

  • Have you ever seen T-Mac change his number? Hang out his tounge? Do the tounge waggling in interviews? Try to use the same cadance as Jordan? I think Kobe is a great player and I have spent time making quite a few mixes of him and I have his best plays from Nov/Dec on my channel. But he is a Jordan wanna-be, you cannot say that T-Mac does all this:

type youtube . com and paste this: /watch?v=JxHZ7ZWxl78

  • Find me the clip. Thanks.

  • nba . com /games/20070325/HOUNOK/recap.html

    25 seconds in

  • personally I didn't need a link to know that T-Mac does that, Ive seen him do that a lot. But if you can post a video of T-Mac doing this:

    /watch?v=JxHZ7ZWxl78

if you can post a video of T-Mac doing all that, i will close my account right now and give up on youtube.

  • /watch?v=WZwv1kR7Ceg

thats the T-Mac I know. He isn't trying to be 'like Mike' to the extent that Kobe is and that was the guy's original point my friend.

  • I can't agree more. I cannot stand when Kobe talks. The man is trying too hard to be like Mike.

  • Is that a joke? lol He was sandwiched on the shot and his leg got hit and PUSHED to the side. It's not at all the same thing as Jordan does in this video (and many other games) or Kobe's blatant imitation of it. Try again.

  • Nice vid as always hoops! Have you checked your email lately? ;)

  • i always remember watching that highlight play at 5:14 where michael jordan is just literally toying with the guy with one hand palming the bball lol

    absolutely awesome.
