stop with the negitive comments. She takes care of him good and he seems to be happy where he is. She loves him and he loves her, he has a great house with lots of climbing places and beds. He doesn't seem unhealthy or upset and shes not doing anything wrong.
I love coatis. I know a place where they have a couple, a male and a female. The male is a bit bigger than the female. The female always loves to kiss and the male loves to scratch on my head.
@juddlesbug i had a coati and it never sat still at least as an adult . im more oif a cuddly type person . so the coati was not an ideal pet for me personallly. i had a sloth and loooved having it , i will get another one scince there great pets

...there is nothing poor about his/her living with this lady. She clearly loves and cares for the animal :) She's very motherly which is great! It's also obvious Taz has bonded so I don't believe Taz would want to live any other place.

@WelshGreen8225 They are around 250-500 depending on if they are bottle feed and female or male... they have to have a large cage (like at a zoo) and lots of time.....
They can be, I have some minor food aggression issues with mine, but other than that he's a sweetheart :) although mine is a White Nosed, not a Golden lol
@Aswwsw oh by the way mine is called a mountain coati mundi, not a golden... with a white nose you have to have a permit and they are endangered species in Texas anyway.....
