@bob2693 Once a surfer comes flying out of a barrel a cut back is the best and funnest way to burn of all that speed and stay close to the pocket or steep breaking part. This wave is all about the barrel so the pro's are just trying to smash a biggie cuttie for a good photo and throw some spray. Trust me by the time those guys come out of the barrel its done. This day is about as good as it gets in my opinion.
