słyszę te organy w każdą środę i piątek. zaciekawił mnie pewien szczegół (którego, Chwała Bogu, nie ma na tym filmie). mianowicie w trakcie gry słychać dziwne "świsty" i "pojękiwania". czy nie są to przypadkiem alikwoty? (chcę tylko zaspokoić moją ciekawość) :)

Oh lord this is so bad on so many levels! This person should serious examine Franck's original registrations. Personally, I would never do a recital with reeds so hideously out of tune. I'd be very embarrassed to post this!

I'm sorry to say that the playing is poor, and the registration is to be observed as on the copy.

The manual parts are generally good, but the speeds are all over the place.

Please don't put recordings of such bad organs on the internet!

Keep working, but on a better organ, and with the correct style.

Much of this piece should be pianissimo/piano.

When forte is marked you don't do it!

Is the expressive swellbox working?

Staccato in the right hand is often asked for.

Why do you play the final andantino slowe than the andantino at the beginning?

Think about the meaning of the title. Shepherds playing flutes and bagpipes. Life in the country...carefree.

yes swell box is a must! If Frank wanted you to change regestration he would of marked it so. He was very picky... swell box=] no the cresendo pedal =] but will done... and the reeds... powerful but... needs just alittle tunning lol. reminds me of an organ here in appleton wisconsin.. the reeds are to powerful and out of tune.. those two put together spells disaster

Yeah, does grate on the ear a bit (trumpet (?) bottom manual), but nothing that an engineer/mechanic couldn't fix ha. Nice piece and you playing's great - I hope you can put out a clip with you playing it on a decent instrument.

Maybe it would be a good idea to follow Franck's registrations. Nothing more, nothing less....

Every registration used for this performance is out of character.

Might also be helpful to listen to some good performances and study about the music, the organs it was written for.

Nicely done bu the Reeds sort of spoil the dynamic effects. Come to Korea and play the Big One - The Golden Organ of YounDong.

If you want to be Really Good, put the music in your head and play from your heart. Don't use music for a performance (This wan not one, I know)

Are there any reeds used? In my opinion, the parts of the positif is too loud (1st part, andantino) and too fast for me. Your should play this piece with more passion. Your allegretto is too slow an my organ teacher would slap me if I don´t use a trumpet by allegretto. What a pity, because your technic are ok, but your interpretation doesn´t touch my taste. (Sorry, my english is even worse.)

Hey, Guy - You interpretation is YOURS and not someone elses. Play as you like. For my opinion - WONDERFUL. Nice to hear all the inner lines. Play what you FEEL. Play MUSIC not notes. Well done.

It is the Reed stops that are so out of tune. Listen carefully. Not sure how you could miss the sound of Reed stops if you understood about organs and registration.

I didn´t say that this pastorale was bad played or something like that. No, far from it! His technical skill of this piece is very laudable. Please don´t understand me wrong.

Part 2: And second, after I had heard more times, I realized too that there are Reeds. That was a mistake of me, so this was wrong what I have written about using reeds. I feel sorry if i have written something rubbish or if I had written too exaggerated. There are lots ...of interpretations of many organists of this piece, and I accept them all, also this interpretation.

Be assued - you neither hurt nor offended. It hink he stopped using Trumpets because of tuning. They surely spoiled the piece. OK, your "Taste" is just as valid as mine or anyone elses. I agree it is sluggish in parts better than than playing like his pants R on fire which is current trend by New Breed organists.
