well, there is some sort of gps attachment that works on a psp in the US, there are videos on youtube showing it. i bet there some type of tutorial that can show you how to make it work.
Wa also have Go!Messenger for PSP, a messenger-like portal that got made by Sony / BritishTelecom collaboration. The world of computing is changing. Ask yoursel why you are still using a 500+ dollars computer you can't take with you anywhere. EePC is not the solution. They are expensive and without dedicated Web 2.0 portals. Join the 270p communuaty on PSP ! Expect 135 dollars solutions very soon, based on recycled stripped-out PSP hardware. Expect this commnauty to grow to 540p and 720p.
The value is in the 270p communauty portals. Imagine an office-like portal. In connected mode, using a simple internet navigator, all 270p users can get something close, maybe better than Microsoft Office. Chose between saving on internet or saving on SDHC card. Be assured to always run the most up to date software. There are some smart people doing this already. They are eXo with Benjamin Mestrallet. This is web 2.0 without you even knowing it. The way to GO !
License part of the Allegrex CPU from Sony (dual core MIPS r4000 at 333Mhz plus coprocessors) and get it produced in your own 90 nanometer silicon plant.
Higher max clock and less real estate.
Sony agrees provided the Graphics Engine (needed for quality gaming) gets removed. Games won't launch. Keep 480x270 screen, remove UMD disk, add 8 GB SDHC Card (OS, programs, data), 4 GB RAM, keyboard, touchpad. Load µCLinux and GNOME Mobile. You then make the 270p commuauty and many internet portals.
