i've downloaded the guitar tabs but it's tuned differently, is it like drop c or something?

@joewizard100 its like the tabs say: Standard D (DGCFAD), that's the tuning I use in all my covers :)

If you're tuning in Standard E just move every note 2 frets back and that should do it

@joewizard100 I plug my guitar to the computer via an interface called Toneport GX (now the product is called PODStudio, its the same hardware, different software), the thing is basically an external soundcard with a jack plug input, where you plug the guitar or bass. Then once you have the signal going INTO the computer, you use the software called PODFarm to set up the distortion and effects etc. :)

As for mixing my audio tracks, I do everything in Cubase 5. Hope that helps!

Hey, nice cover. What software do you use to create the drums? Must take ages! Do you create all the backing track from scratch?

I use Toontrack's EZDrummer for the drum sounds. I write all the midi instruments on Cubase 5. And yes most of the time I create all of it from scratch, though in a few videos I did use some midi files found on the internet to work with. I gotta say I prefer the results when I work from scratch, but that is just my personal experience :)

@4658dan EZDrummer is ok drum but if you Drum with the more mix option i suggest you xnl audio Addictive drum i think it's the best one, and yeah it's better to work from scratch and mae your personal groove :p,

i like the way ferdk16 make the drum very soft, no overhead and maybe a little scoop on mid frequencies.

But for that we need very spacy guitar track for a solid mix, i wonder what is the reverb and delay setting you use ferdk16:p

@makotomi5252 if you mean for the rhythm guitars I don't use any delay and just a tiiiiiny little reverb, I prefer the rhythms to sound dry. For the lead guitars I use delay and reverb, but not much, about 25% of each. As for the specific effects, I use the ones in PODFarm, the delay I use is called "Digital Delay" (a simple delay, nothing fancy) and the reverb is called "Cavernous" :)

Number 8 was cool and funny with nice music, but it had the thing that has ruined some games for me. I hate level scaling in games! In 8 you were almost encouraged to stay as low a level as possible while getting high level spells to beef up your stats. more than once I have started a new game and then remembered that and just sighed and turned it off...

But that was a cool one ferdk :D

@Folian87 Haha actually I liked the broken-ness of it, like my latest playthrough I was 4 hours into the game, Squall with 192 Str hitting over 4k damage with the "Attack" command, monsters with like only hundreds of HP (due to party below lvl10). Funny mechanics this game had =P
