I still do not understand how to find the potential difference of the capaciter after a long time. Why does knowing the potential difference of the 1 omh resistor tell you anything?

Does subtracting the 36W from the 48W give the power rating of the capacitors as 12 W?

Like the energy, but it often jumps around in "assumed knowledge" of the watcher, i.e. goes from basic to more advanced and back.
