i commented on the Norway video and they look alike but these are the only two documented cases in the world of spiral lights. So as I said in the nNorway video, I study space a lot and my dad's in the government and this doesn't look like a missle or meteor of any kind. 1988 was near the end of the cold war between the US and USSR, and the footage is of a Russian rocket. He says that the Russians were trying to get rid of their nuclear stockpile so they were launching it into the atmosphere and exploding them without exploding the warheads.

He then says if you did not know the previous information then you would think it is a UFO, and that the mystery is in that it is not a commonly seen object.

The fact that this video is from 1988 means it cannot be HAARP which was established in 1993.

However, EISCAT was around back then.. the question is did EISCAT have the tools and know-how back then to create this effect? because there is a patent filed in 1987 for methodology to create plasma at altitudes below 50km and describes an effect of "propagating plasma waves"
