i had one living in straight fresh water. they do well but it is good to add a few tablespoons of salt once a month to combat bacteria.

Wow, you'd think he'd smash him quick but he did it hell slow. Ive got two Oscars I feed guppies and they just swallow them whole, this be epic! Chew em slow, spit em out a bit, suck em back in. Fuck them little fish up.

@jg16250 goldfish are unhealthy. They are fatty and not good for the long term health of any fish they are being fed to. Convicts are better alternative.

@TheFishfrog the convict was a male from the breeding pair, he killed the female. so i put him in another tank and he bashed my jaguar cichlid the same size so i just fed it to the jack. my tanks 800L 6.5f x 2.5f widex 2f high

@hamza8810 na mate i do add some pool salt 1 cup every water change.(1nce a week) i do try and keep the PH up. it sits at 8ph same as what salt water is using bicarb soda coral and cal carb in the sump. he seems to like it.
