  • OOOOOO. Nice little track. Too bad quads can handle it. Groutaone. You need to find yourself a track that's only about 8 inches wide. Then you can own and nobody's gonna screw up your little heaven. Single track's where its at. Service Honda sure makes a sweet ride huh.

  • @rostifardian Yes I really like this bike, I think this is the best dirt bike I have ever had, this ones not an original Service Honda though

  • that front wheel poppin up so easily is awesome... i love these bikes

  • you got a lot of movies with you and youre bike did you married with it?

  • you must have to replace the back tire after every 2 rides. lol

  • @IacobucciB Ya it eats em up, just a minute ride and the edges take a beating

  • ok now lets, be real that cr500 is a massive boner giver,,, we are in your corner now what do u want???

  • @stratcat70 Umm, keep your pants on lol

  • This guy has the sikest CR500 on YouTube. 10 out 10.

  • have you taken your bike on a track?

  • @MrOmonoiatis Yes, it had a 250 engine at the time

  • What year is that??

  • @csrocker101 03 with a 1990 engine

  • someone who can actually handle a 500 2 stroke!!

  • nice

  • hey how often do you have to rebuild the cr 500 ?

  • @Sheridan987654321 Real tough engines, I may go four or five years on mine easy but I dont ride all the time

  • I have a CR 125 on my Outlaw Sprint car.. God Have to love the 2 strokes! Take a look of my video, its a racing slideshow, and ya once the powerband kicks in your haulin' haha!

  • i´m considering to buy a ktm 500 , but i´m a little worried it would be to much for trail riding .

  • wow is it legal to drive there?

  • Sounds a little lean on the bottom

  • Tags: Suzuki, Yamaha, kawasaki, ktm, crashes, accidents????WTF

  • Nice bike its very clean, i also ride a honda but its a lil bit smaller its a CR-80

  • @Honda80CR I rode a CR80 a bit as a kid, wasnt my bike but it sure was fun

  • U dont stand up at all bad rideing !

  • hey groutaone i was watching your vids and your bike the plastics rattle so much you using locktite to keep the bolts from falling off?

  • @hondaracer273 So far have not had a single bolt come loose, I would say about 90% of these bolts do not have loctite

  • I think MrRsHelp4u is right. I love 500's. So much frickin' fun. However, most of the time you can be faster and go for much longer without getting tired on a 250. I'm not doggin' your vid or your bike. It's totally cool and I'd love to have one. Cheers.

  • wow i got the same gloves that you do. fox dirtpaws

  • @sixbeatsperminute Everyone should have a pair of dirtpaws. best glove i've tried.

  • hey, great vid man! but I'm kinda wondering because I'm a bit of a beginner.. when your going through the woods and you shift how many fingers do you use on the clutch? and if I'm riding through trails would you recommend riding standing up or sitting down?

  • @Mrturkeyhunter100 I use two fingers on the clutch, to sit or stand depends on what the trail is like, you will have much better control if you stand in the rough stuff, if you can stay sitting in the woods thats not a bad idea as overhanging tree limbs over the trail that show up with little or no warning can ruin a guys day real quick

  • @Mrturkeyhunter100 try 2 fingers on the clutch and one on the front brakes it helps to have your finger on the brakes incase you need them rigtht that second and i would recomend setting your suspention on the soft side so you can sit down all the way along the trail you have an easyer time staying in control of the bike then

  • the bike is too powerful for this track

on this track a 85 or 125 is great

  • r u kidding kid a 125 2 stroke is at the edge of your zone a 250 would blow you to pieces and a 500 cr would shit you out

  • why do you need cr500 when you ride like a weenie?

  • @motoXmurph8 You might know how to hold this 500 wide open in these woods but I dont, I'am up for some education, borrow a CR or KX500 and run it wide open in some tight woods while you wear your gopro and then post it the results, thanks for your help.

  • Sweet, you have an 1984 cr 500 and an 03 cr 500. Which one do you like more?

  • @1985hond125 I like this one more but I sold my 84 a long time ago

  • glad to see this bike actually gets out of the garage. awesome bike man, definitely a dream biike of mine

  • Guys, am I big enough to ride a CR500?

I'm 14 years old, I weigh 59lbs, and I'm a little bit taller than Billy in my class. I've rode a yz125 so I know what 2 stroke power feels like.

Would a CR500 be a good first bike for me?

  • @wewa420 Idk, I think Billy might be taller but not as heavy as you

  • @wewa420 i think you need to be a bit heavier it might throw you around and jerk you abit to hard for now but a 250 2 stroke would be perfect for you

  • @MrRshelp4u o im like 115 not 59

  • @wewa420 still its a bit light for a cr500 iv had a cr500 and i weigh 210lbs and it still through me around

i think you would have much more fun on a 250 stroke because its something you can open the throttle fully on

  • @MrRshelp4u lol ive got all i need lmfao its a joke.

  • @wewa420 what?

  • @MrRshelp4u nothing lol the thing i said first its a joke.

  • @wewa420 it would just scare u, get a 250 and put a 500 engine in it when u get older. im 14 and have a gasgas 280 and thats enough for me. still want a cr500 tough :P

  • and god said let there be awsome and this bike was born.

  • @ groutaone

damnn i wanna ride one of these so bad

i got a kx125 thats pretty quick for me but i only weigh 115

i bet that 500 wouldn't even notice im on it

  • @chooperXmane At 115 pounds a CR500 would have only one thing on its mind all day long, that would be to tear you and the back fender off in all gears lol but if your a good rider you could likely delay that event for a while. Thanks for watching my friend.

  • @groutaone

    what year is that bike

i thought they stopped making the 500 years ago

    2stroke

  • @chooperXmane This is an 03 CR250 with a 1990 500 engine

  • your Yz80 is from the rong country , go buy orange no more issues!!!

  • stand up!!!!!

  • Best sound ever!

  • now imagine this babe with supermotos

  • you think you could fit that engine in a 400ex frame?

  • @PikaJew95 With a welder and a saw most things are possible

  • @groutaone sweet :D i think i might have to try that mod sometime....

  • @PikaJew95 Just get a Dirt bike. They are much more fun.

  • @Snowy255 I have a 125 sx ;P

  • @PikaJew95

Service Honda is putting the CR250 engine in the 400EX frame. I bet they could make the 500 work.

  • @5hundie i would crap my pants if i could send it to them and have it done xD

  • hey groutaone awsome videos!! i just need your help i have a 2001 yz 80 and i foul spark plugs almost every ride, my bike is stock with a fmf shorty silencer i dont know if my bike needs jetting please help

  • @SamRc3 Might be mixing in too much oil?

  • @groutaone i mix 32:1 mixture and that is what the manual says to mix at so i think i need to rejet it, what do you think i should do

  • @SamRc3 You could be a great rider Idk, but sometimes if a bike like that spends too much time under the powerband it will oil up the cyl, that bike needs to scream almost as much time as not, once again you may ride like that already Idk.

  • @SamRc3 try a br8es plug

  • @SamRc3 i had the same problem with my rm 85 if you mix 32:1 try mixing 40:1 instead so it run leaner

  • ever get it out of 4th?!?!

  • Did you put your 1990 CR500's engine into this bike ?

  • @CombatArms149 My old CR500 was an 84 air cooled, this engine I got on ebay

  • @groutaone ok cool

  • @groutaone how much cutting did u have to do to make it fit into the 250 frame

  • i like how you ride around the mud puddles...so do I..it shows you appreciate your things a little more, and just because its a dirt bike doesnt mean i like to ride mine in the mud for no reason

  • The cr 500 is just a nasty machine!

  • What year is it?

  • @2003ls 2003 with a 1990 engine

  • You know what i love about this guy

    he always wears a helmet

    is funny

    knows what he is doing

    and can actually ride!

  • ever been to seddons corner

  • @yamaharules163 No sir have not

  • @groutaone oh, well give me your cr500 motor for my trx250r LOL jk. how about the sandilands look at my helmet cam vids of out there

  • somthin like this u can kill youself pretty quick

  • @Monsterman426 i was kinda thinking the same thing....man this looks kinda dangerous lol an inexperienced riders nightmare

  • I let it download in 720 in the bg and eventually watched it, thanks for the vid- I enjoyed it

  • @PatriotMetalsFL Well I hope you can get the play speed fixed, waiting kinda takes some fun out

  • would love to watch this vid if youtube wasn't inherently broken maybe I could... funny though it streams advertisements in high quality instantly every time, but it NEVER streams a single video... hmmm

  • @PatriotMetalsFL Is it just today you have trouble watching? Are all videos are slow or just this one? That kinda sucks.

  • @groutaone I have this problem on multiple machines with various connection types on all quality settings. I have tested fiber-optic, cable, and DSL on 360+ quality on different operating systems as well. All connections are wired LAN setups, and it occurs on all videos.

  • @PatriotMetalsFL when I said all quality settings what I should have mentioned is 240 will typically stream without issues, but is an unacceptable viewing quality IMO

  • oh! Favorited! That's my fav. thing to do on bikes! A fun trail ride and blazing new trails! I love it! ; D *thumbs up* That was the best hobby..find a new trail..see where she goes! ; )

  • @theGHETTOMAN1 Thanks, I need to get on some better trails, they are a bit tough to find out here but I got a lead on something in the hills out here.

  • that looks brand new

  • amature

  • absolute animal of a bike!!...love it

  • @MrBigjim81 Ha ha, awesome, thanks

  • vai aprender a andar de mota murcao

  • first person to make a lap around a mx track with this bike in 5th gear pinned ill pay $100 lmao

  • @justabec7 Im pretty sure you couldnt even do that on a 125......dumbass.

  • @njas14njas just because YOU cant doesnt mean everybody else cant

  • @justabec7 lol just $100? no doctor bills or such?

  • @SirSmighty yeah well i figured the trill of the ride would be woth the doctor bills :D lol

  • @justabec7 im game but if i crash u still gotta pay me inless i die so its a 50-50 shot

  • Dumb Question, but will you sell this beauty?

  • @MotorCrossification Sorry, its not for sale at this time, if I ever do decide to sell I think I would make a video to let you guys know.

  • I just physically need to possess one of these bad boys one day... Riding an oldie but goldie right now, CR 250 -98. I've wanted to try a 500 twostroke since I first got aware of that they actually exist, and the CR 500 AF is just too beautiful.

Great vid man, makes me want to ride sooo bad!

  • @Deathklump Once you try one theres no going back

  • nice videos keep it up. I just bought a 2003 yz125 for 2400 can. I will upload avideo tommorow of the bike you should check it out. I also had a question about your dune buggy. I was wondering if you bought the chasis or if you made it and i was wondering if you had any plans for it. Thanks.

  • @CanadianDirtbiking Thanks, the dune buggy I built from scratch using my own plans. Plans are just to drive it and make a few more videos of it

  • Nice bike and nice quality vid thanks

  • Thats one bike ive never ridden , i rode a Rm 500 , yz 490 , kx 500, yz 465 , just like to feel how the an aluminum framed cr 500 rides, you fabricated that one right ? would it have been cheeper to buy one from works?

  • @derrickfromsomerset Yes I built this one myself, I think I have about 5 k in this one not counting my time I put in it

  • what does the AF stand for and nice bike

  • @mrlonely199 Thanks, AF stands for aluminum frame

  • wow your right on the edge of that river

  • @hanratty450 Its a nice place to ride, just kind of a short trail

  • NICE

  • That looks like a fun bike, how many miles can you usually get out of a 2.0 tank of gas?

  • @chillrasta12 Not sure but it goes down fast, I think it will go around 45min to 1 hour

  • had fun trails in vernon/bolton ct back in the day..had a 480...my balls were always a 1/4 mile behind me..

  • @custardpie40 That 480 was a left kick if I remeber right, could you start it easy?

  • @groutaone how many gears does your bike have? and have you ever raced a newer 450? if so how close do they come with speed and acceleration?

  • @crf450r23 Its a five speed, havent raced a 450 but I have an interesting vid in my favorites, if I remember right there are three CRF450's, three CR500's and a YZ250. They all line up for a drag race on a field and have at it. They do this about 5 times, have a look.

  • Id launch myself right into one of those trees with that much power on those narrow trails! Sick bike though...although I prob. couldnt get out of third gear in those woods. Must be fun as hell though in wide open pit areas

  • isn't a 250 better for the woods (2-stroke) ? I guess you can push it harder, maybe more fun ? I guess you've already tried one in the woods

  • @fabianromano They are both fun, these trails you have to watch out for all kinds, ATV's coming from the other direction, hikers on the trail, last summer I almost ran over a person on a bicycle, overhanging branches, logs and what not all so I prefer not to ride them like it was a MX track

  • well... u seen like an expert on bikes, what do u think i should get for a bike. im 17 and ive been riding for 3 years, and i want either a crf 250 or 450. which one should i get. plz reply

  • @MHSdude666 Depends on your riding style, skills, how you ride and what you use the bike for, if you get bored with the power of your bike easily then you may want the 450 but its easier to get hurt on a bigger bike, I cant really give an answer as there are so many variables

  • @MHSdude666 from my and all my friends experience 450 is the way to go, im getting a brand new 450r this spring n i cant wait, 2 strokes are fun but there basically slow versions of 450s, but 450s are expensive to maintain and are really expensive to re-build, 2 strokes dont got as much torque as a 450 and u have to be in powerband with them, when 450s are basically in powerband all the time, and i find that 2strokes have a lil harder time starting in cold mornings

  • that looks like some good trails...are the very long...

  • @pain250x Theres maybe about 6 or 7 minutes right there if you ride at the speed I'am going, wish we had more hills out here

  • my kind of riding, thanks for taking us along with ya

  • @skiddy8619 Hey no problem, its fun for me

  • lol why is it so slow

  • Looks Like Fun!!!

  • @1988Ranger4X4 Ya this bike gave me many hours of entertainment last year and more to come

  • ill trade u my IT490 :P

  • @UnleashedDanceTeam ha ha, I wouldnt mind riding your old IT though

  • sick bike dude looks great

  • @crimson22s thanks

  • @crimson22s thanks

  • wrong bike buy a wr450f mate

  • @john814ce no the cr 500 has more power and is funner

  • @groutaone hey, i cant get my vids onto windows movie maker to edit them.. what do you use and how do you edit?

  • @warboy1psn I use corel video studio 12 for my edit straight from my camera

  • I agree with drain1 gear it up you dont ride a 500 like a 250 roll the gas on and up shift theres only one person that could ride a 500 like a 250 and his name the late . Danny Hamel now that dude was on the gas allways

  • @rallys1234 Yes Danny used to kill it on those things! RIP

  • hell yea how u keep the camera from bouncning around? it sems realy stable

  • @ranchero302me by wearing it as a helmet cam it seems to have more stability than if hand held, so its no skill, just where you mount it makes the difference, thanks for checking out this vid

  • 2 stroke ringin throughout the woods!

  • @JuicyFruitFresh yep, I bet you could hear way up and down the river

  • Looks like a blast! Personally I learned a long time ago (the hard way) I'm not cut out for trail riding. But it sure seems like fun. :D

  • @RC62 what do you mean ? trail riding is the best!

  • @Jolinator While I'd love to trail ride, I am just not coordinated and skilled enough for that type riding.

  • You need a smaller sprocket & stop that annoying idling then give it the DIDDY:-)

  • Hey Bud, i see you finally got it running...looks great, hey , what type of helmet cam are you using, video came out great.

  • @voznee thanks, helmet camera is a Go pro hero HD

  • I would have taken it a little slower but I want to live a while. those trees hurt.

  • Great ride!! I'm glad we didn't have to take out any Old Ladies this time!!☺ What's with the 4:3 ratio, did you edit it in the wrong format??

  • @805ROADKING all old ladys with canes were safe this time or maybe I was safe, ha ha. The 4:3 (tall veiw) is what I like to record in as that way it shows the handlbars nice, so I ended up with the view here that I wanted

  • Great video as usual. Sweet sounding bike!

  • Now that was fun. thks g

  • @seamstobe thanks for checking out my video

  • I think you need an upgrade to a 700 :)

  • @tobyeo you may be right

  • @groutaone Dooooo it!!

  • @groutaone

How about a new Maico 700 - google Maico international, then onto mx-2010, VERY nice bikes!

  • I can't wait to get both of my CR500s going!

  • two stroke the hell nice ride

  • Great footage......looks like a whole lot of fun. That is one awesome bike!
