This is awesome!!! (The whole series of videos is interesting, really). But that specific study is fascinating, and makes a lot of sense.

This is THE reason teaching drawing or art RIGOR is nearly impossible with most kids. Most take a fixed position and resist learning.

This is really great advice -- kids need to feel supported taking risks -- like striving to work hard for something even if they might not accomplish it. Keep these vidoes coming.
