I agree, after numerous mistakes, SEGA finally returned Sonic to it's roots. If Unleashed didn't have the Whergog segments, and if the Sonic sections were more polished, it would have been amazing.

I feel sorry for some of the enemies. i think ones back was turned when you PLOWED right thro him lol. man this game i say is the most insane so far for sonic run courses. not even Sonic "Rush" can compete to this game.

@zamio1, I agree slightly. A, because I prefer DX/Battle, and B, because Unleashed looks like it has fun speed stages. But its not overrated. You simply didn't grow up in the time where it was in its hayday. Back then, SA2 WAS Unleashed - it had the best graphics, it had the coolest features. The reasons for saying Unleashed is good are as generic as saying SA2 was good - you'd probably say the graphics were stellar, but you can't defend the monotonous Werehog missions and the boring plot.

@Momentum139 I liked the plot...And the werehog. The plot was rather intruiging and the werehog was kinda fun as well. And i was in the days were SA2 was around and i thought "This. Game. ROCKS!" But I was ready to move on. Theres no doubt that it was a good game but overrating it kinda made me go "Oh screw this." However most of everyone refused to move on so I got put off.

I've played both versions, and they are almost completely seperate games. I don't think any of the levels were the same.

It has some control issues as well as frame rate drops that should not be there. Everyone who's reviewed it has had a problem with the Werehog stages (which I thought were alright if, again, the control issues weren't there). The game DOES get repetitive, too.

i wish icould say the same. i have the wii version, and i really hate to admit it (saying this almost makes me wanna cry), but the 360 version is better, in graphics, speed, gameplay, and nearly everything. the only thing this game doesnt have , though, is the awesome spin dash, which the wii version does have
