please please could you tell me where you bought the front bumper from? what make is it? and what make is the supercharger? i was looking at jackson racing but they where around £2000. only want to spend £1000
fjaeran is still experimenting with tires as can be seen from his follow up remarks. Been there and done that. I would be interested to see what you are driving on the track. Looking forward to your reply.
I own a MX-5 which I am currently prepping for Tarmac Rallys & Motokana events. I used to race an RX-7 Turbo. In my experience (and the ppl I know) tyres where always let down to at least 30 psi(usually lower if it was a hot day and even lower for racing slicks)This increases grip for acceleration, braking and cornering. Higher pressure in the tyres will allow a higher top speed tho. Tyre 'squeal' is never a factor when choosing tyres and pressure.

Tire squeal comes of that im driving at the limit..
I maybe goes for TUV approved tires as a trackdaytire(Toyo R888 ??)this year.
Im using Toyo Proexes T1S now, much better than falken FK541 tires. My Falken tires melted when I drove at Rudskogen.
Isnt it better to decrease the preassure.. When the tires get hot, the air expand.

Better tires needed as well as an increase to 40 -45 PSI to eliminate all that tire squeal
