it isn't important what particular video editing software he used but wich animation programme, cus once you've created the animation all you have to do is import them into your video edit programme......now some video edit programmes have standert animations that the creators made but none will have stuff like in this video so you should buy it or make it yourself :p Adobe photoshop CS5 for example is great for making your own animations
