Prohibition was the most unconstitional act ever passed. You can no more take someones property and destroy it without compensation than you can make a person a slave. No amendment can take away from a right recognized in a previous amendment and certainly not one that existed prior to the constitution. infact your labor is your property, and we are at liberty to do what we want so long as it dosn't injure or steal from another. see Geroge Gordon dot org for more
Nice video however I disagree with your assertion that America learned a valuable lesson. Americans learned nothing from prohibition. That is why we are repeating history with failed policies prohibiting drugs.
Footage was from a video I rented from my local library. I recorded the footage into my camcorder from the VCR, then imported the footage onto my computer via firewire.
Awesome work, love the enthusiasm. I am going to share this with some traditional jazz friends of mine in preparation for our annual Prohibition Repeal party in December. Important question: Which band and recording did you use for "Charleston" in the beginning? Thanks --
yea it is. But there's so many better ones not made by him. Because he says that, he wants gun and wealth prohibition which is rather inconsistent. But I did give it 5 stars none the less.
Well done! If this was school project you did a great job! I like how you did your voice LoL My grandfather owned speakeasys in boston back then. The Kennedys Yup he knew em. Oh and he met Capone!!! Great clip!
I was 3 when they repealed it in 1933.
