  • I love the sound of South Africans...

  • @VX737 I know, we have hot accents :P im South African btw =)

  • smooth landing

  • Did most of my ILS training at FALA out of FAGC. Great airport. Bit difficult to get training clearance these days with the likes of these guys flying out of it now.

  • great cews, now i want to become a Pilot in South Africa :D

  • @vixpatel1991. Comair is a British Airways franchise

  • how is this british airways?

  • Correct me if I'm wrong, but the landing at the end was Victoria Falls Zimbabwe?

  • @LGSO Good obsevation... It's definately not Cape Town... The landing is a diffirent flight and crew. The take off was a Kulula flight out of Lanseria and the landing was a BA Comair flight in one of their other destinations... (could've been Vic Falls..)

  • great looking plane =) i wish they did this in the united states

  • Airport: 8:37 ???

  • what airport air they operating out of?

  • @hoomyged FALA Lanseria

  • @hoomyged It's Lanseria Airport in Johannesburg. Only kulula operates from that airport and other charter companies. Awesome airline, and awesome airport..

  • 2:07 the landing lights are off, did he say "gigli"?

  • I think he said your green, or good to increase speed.

  • @kembooo000 He said gear green. Which mean the landing gear went up without problem as indicated with the 3 green lights.

  • @MrCars He actually said "Gear Clean" which means the landing gear is stowed and the gear doors are closed. hehe...

  • Last captain seems to have superior airmanship, not to mention pretty amazing handflying ability.

  • @alejogj2 Well, he is one of our training captains.

  • what was he talking about high speed

  • @notar1 It is not often that you can do a high speed approach into a busy airspace. It basically meant that there was no air traffic surrounding the airport. It makes for exciting landing conditions!!

  • @notar1 They were cleared for a high-speed approach into Cape Town. Simply means no speed restrictions on the descent.

  • haha, i like it. They climbed us up to 32 grand :D

  • The first captain speaks with a very interesting accent. It was hard for me to understand what he was saying. Although, cool vid!!

  • i'm glad to say I've been bliksem'd by this pilot! lol!

  • How awesome is this!! Makes me proud to be Comair Crew!!!

  • A great Captain. Nothing better than an Ethusiastic pilot talking us over what's happening etc. Excellent!

    Regards

  • i so agree

  • I remeber being the ramp controller for that flight out of lanseria !! Great Captain and all the staff there are really awsome!!

  • The conditions were great to landing, but it was very nice, very smooth!

    nice vid

  • very smotth... i didnt even feel it :)

  • Awesome Video ! It is the most beautiful trade of the world.

  • I was in South Africa 6 months ago, and when I first saw a British Airways 737 landing and take off, I was LIKE WTF?!?!?!

  • WHY??

  • i thought the co-pilot is always sitting on the right and not the way this video shows it.

  • First officer IS in the right seat. However in the first flight he is also Duty Pilot Flying (PF) and the "Captain" (senior rank) is (depending on terminology) Pilot Monitoring (PM or PNF) - This is for currency reasons, you don't want First Officers never flying the plane for months and years till they get the Unfrozen ATPL or Captain rating. There's a certain amount of "Pilot Flying" hours they must do every month. F/O rating though means it's going to be flown Right Seat.

  • @jfghjfkfjk I think you should watch this video again. In both cases the first officer sits on the right hand side???

  • Nice, very interesting!

  • very nice!

  • great video as usual Justplanes!

  • Wow - that is a seriously excellent video. I love the 737-300/400 as they still retain some of the older, analog instruments and not completely automated like most aeroplanes these days. You still get some glass tubes. The first Captain profiled seems very nice and enthusiastic - and you can't beat that South African accent. Looks like another fantastic addition to your video collection. I can't wait to visit South Africa - I will definitely fly Comair when I visit!!!!

  • I love these videos.

  • nice!

  • nice veiwer 149

  • Another great preview!

  • Best videos on Youtube, thanks for posting from a Civil Airline fan.

  • another fine video i plan on buying the air canada one:D

  • Great! Love the classic 737s!

  • Very cool FIST COMMENT!!!!!!
