@ArchChristi thats none sense. Paul never authored any of the Gospels, nor was Paul the founder of Christianity. 14 out of the 27 books of the Bible were written by Paul. Second, if you look at the historical Islamic perspective on Paul, Paul was viewed as a righteous follower of Jesus. Go back to writers like Ibn Ishaq for instance who praise the apostle. This is a modern phenomena among muslims to bash Paul in order to explain the rise of Christianity

Barnabas on the contrary was, however his gospel was suppressed by the Pauline dominated church just like many other gospels from Jerusalem that proved that Paul was a anti-Christ. Paul led the new gentile astray, he adopted pagan doctrines from a rival religion of that time. His missionary work proves this. The writers of the hadith are not canon nor should be trusted, but they tend to praise Barnabas more than Paul.

@jamaicanification Hi Bro! Read Acts in the New Testament. Paul had countless arguments with Barnabas, for instance, he ended up with a bitter argument with him in (Acts 15: 36-40). Unlike Paul, Barnabas was an actual 'true' disciple of Jesus. The reason behind this was because he was jealous of Barnabas' genuineness, more importantly he "rejected" Barnabas most earliest doctrines mentioned in the Gospel. Paul created a religion out of jealousy and hate, as he himself was "never" a true Apostle.

Which is why the Christian Patriarchs in Jerusalem strongly condemned his intent to adopt pagan doctrines from Mithraism. The new gentile were neither eye witnesses nor actual disciples of Jesus. The Acts prove that much of the NT was based on the life of Paul, not Jesus, hence Jesus has really nothing to do with Christianity. Christianity is all about Paul.
