I cant understand why there has been nothing in the last 10 or 12 years that has come near to the ferocity and intensity of this type of stuff, with the exception of some of the grime stuff there has been nothing
same as the death metal from about 1987/88 which is similarily unsurpassed, seem to be a bunch of fucking soft pansies nowadays particulary in the uk
I think you might be mistaken! Yes admittedly there is a niche missing from the scene today (a rather large one at that). Have you not heard of Paradox? Try these for size, all within the last 12 years as you stated and released in the UK.
@Slane717 look up Labels like Scientific Wax, Foundation X, the new stuff out on Metalheadz, Hidden Hawaii, Inperspective Records, Outsiders, Paradox Music, to name a few. Also artists like Equinox, Dub-One, Drum Cypha, Double-O, Nolige, Skitty, Antidote, Paradox, Seba, Icicle, Jubei, B-Key, Theory, Senses, Stunna and others. There is a HUGE movement in DNB that is all about this sound, and its been around for a minute. I play a lot of it, and mix it with the 97/98 stuff as well. ;)
