Pink bullets kill you on the spot, blue ones don't if your hitbox is just grazed by them, i.e. the blue outer rim.

Yes of course: you have to reach the end of the first loop satisfying one of three conditions (I think it's reaching a minimum score specific for each fighter type, OR raching up all the bees in 4 of 6 stages, OR chaining a certain number of enemies). After the second, MUCH harder loop, you fight Hibachi.

Sorry, my bad. Here are the conditions, taken from Wikipedia (and to think I was the one that added them...), everything has to be done without continuing. * Don't lose more than two fighters (lives).

 * Depending on the fighter used, have a maximum hit count of at least the following: Type A: 270 hits Type B: 300 hits Type C: 330 hits * Score at least 50 million points by the end of the sixth area. * Collect all thirteen bees in four of the six areas.

No, the game (DDP Campaign Version) was here during a Cave Matsuri in maybe 2007 or 2006, the guy who made the high score within the 3 days could win the game itself. The PCB was made only for one person. There'll never be a rom or a dump, SOF-WTN keeps the PCB at home.

Basically it's like Dodonpachi Daioujou only with Dodonpachi's graphics. The Hyper system in particular (you fill up a meter and when it's full you can get more hits on the hit counter for a while without the combo gauge running out)

Well, i noticed more bullets than normal in this vid, But the strange thing is that the final pattern did not look as hard as normal.

Instead of that wierd rotating really tight thingy of doom.

The second wave more than makes up for any laxing on the difficulty of the final wave. I have NEVER seen anyone survive that without a crazy amount of bombs, Campaign or otherwise, and I certainly never came CLOSE to dodging that in my visits. Whoever green-lit that one needs his head checked.

But yeah, the final one does seem a bit easier, at least from just looking at it.

"Blue Rom" is also known within the shmups community as DoDonPachi "Campaign Version". Nice video, thought the last guy would be a lot harder.  (also, I remember hearing there were 2 of them in the whole world too...)
