@labartic It is not about taxing the rich to give to the poor. It is about the rich paying the same percentage as everybody else. Why should a wealthy person be allowed to pay 10% on what they make while a middle class person making FAR less pays 30%??? It is not about the same standard of living but about paying your FAIR share. That also applies to those on the dole, they should be taxed on any free money they get. If they don't like it then get educated and get a damn job!
