i have one and i LOVE it i had a bobcat come within 10 yards and didnt even know i was ther and got him works great and i agree with dasexybeastboi but i wear camoflague in it and it still works great. -tex
Good video, thanks for the effort. My father is going to be 72 years old the day before hunting season. We hunt on state land in Iosco County Michigan USA.
I want him to be comfortable when hunting because were you to listen to him he'd say something like: "'Come heck or high water... I'll be hunting if the Lord is willing."
All things considered, I hope we get to go this year and all is well. I'd rather he kill "The Resident Monster" than myself. That is as it should be I think.
in my opinion ground blinds is for the hunter as the ghillie suit is for a sniper ... so 40 % of artificial cover 60 % natural vegetation . wear whatever color your background is ... i usually dont use the opening right behind me , so i cover it completly and i wear all black so the deer cant see movement into the blind.
i love this blind, but one suggestion to u...wear all black and take down the shoot through and have twigs and leaves over the windows instead, you dont have to worry about them seeing u at all and u dont have to worry about expandable arrows expanding or anything
I have been using the eclipse ground max and I use the shoot through mesh with a 55# recurve, wasp 3-blade cam-loks and carbon arrows with feathers. I have not notice any change on hitting my target using the mesh. The down side is that I can not see my arrow impact. Also, when the sun is shinning through the mesh it makes it to where you can't see out of it.
Just for bowhunting with NON-MECHANICAL broadheads. Guns will catch the mesh on fire and mechanical broadhead will partly deploy. so you just open the mesh a crack for either of these.
and it hides sent very well and u cant feel the wind in the blind with the shoot through mesh on and there were deer to the west of me and the wind was blowing west and i called them in with no scent covers
Gudday Sam - I don't know what sort of Hunting & Outdoor shops you have have in Aussie or if they would actually stock these blinds but I can tell you that if you wanted to get one shipped out from the USA - you could go online to the BassPro stores - where I got mine sent from, or Cabelas or Sportsmans Guide also have them - Sortsmans Guide can be pretty expensive so i would be inclined towards Bass Pro or Cabelas myself. Shipping it to Aussie could be a bit costly mind you.

I have this very same blind. It has survived 50+ mph winds here in wyoming when staked down.

one puff of wind and that blind is gone.

Not totally correct - it has pegs and stays that fix it to the ground as well.
