No, the power of Midland G7 Line cannot be changed by menu, there are several bridges that must be cuted in order to increase the power. The same is valid for G8, G9 line. Only Midland G14, G11, HP450 can have increased power via software.

If you`re transmitting in Hi Power, the batteries can drain very easily. My advice is to transmit with Hi Power only when needed.

The power it`s up to 3W in PMR446, the side effect is the drain battery, the battery is consumming very fast.
