Thanks for the quick response. Is there a way to make the image bigger though without distorting? The orginal image is a business card and I need to incrase the size to approx 1 metre x 2 metres for advertsing purposes. Also the color of the background on the business card is a certain shade of blue. To keep the theme going, i need the same shade of blue. How do I copy this across? Thanks.
Hey mountindew, great video. I need some help if u could pls. Ive already got an image, and Ive just created a new document which is much bigger. How do I copy a layer from the old image to the new doc and make sure its the right size? Im new to photoshop, so any help appreciated.
Thanks for such an easy-to-follow tutorial!! I had been all over the web all night trying to figure this stuff out and you made it super easy. YOU ROCK!!!
lol, I am glad you like them. LOL yeah I try too keep them as short as possible and still make it easy for people too understand. But on the other hand I also know no one likes setting through a super long video.
Please Can you make a tutorial about how to transform stuff cut stuff witht he tools and describe the tools and what you can do with them i'm a begginers lol.
haha yeah, when i make videos like this I try to put various Backgrounds for the video. My background i usually use is the xp logo or Something from a video game lol.
this tutorial really helped me, thanks! do you have a tutorial on removing a face from one picture and placing it on another pic and then to fix it so that the new face can match the body

and you are deleting a bit of the Glasses
if i try to delete i delete the whole picture 2 :S
riico1 3 years ago
The glasses should be a new layer on the image. you must work in layers. Never merge you layers until you are completely finished.

Just do it the same way as in this video. But I do not recommend sizing up as it will distort the image. It is fine to go smaller, but never larger.
mountindew 3 years ago
what would you save it as??
Bradleydl 3 years ago
that is really up to the user, If your posting it on the web I would go with .gif or .png. Other wise for your computer the most common is jpeg.

You should use a small eraser along the margin and then switch to a larger one for the gross erasing to save time!
