you maintain it, duhhhhhh. we had an old 3 series with 250K miles on it, & no problems. it wasn't expensive to maintain, but it wasn't new either. If you have the money to buy a BMW then you shouldn't have a problem.

Yeah I agree. Hamann makes similar looking wheels for kits on the M5. In my opinion you don't need these upgrades, M5 wheels take the cake. I mean the only thing I would do for upgrades on any 3 series would be the 06' 330 sport premium wheels. Hands down some of the most badass wheels on the market.

if its a reflash then yes, usually you do send it in. if its a totally programmable ecu then you really don't need to. you just replace it.

If R8 V10 version will be more than a match for V-spec as long as it is equipped with a proper spoiler.

Infiniti's AWD system is different, if you know what I mean. iAWD lets you drive like FR car, but when a slip is detected, it gets into AWD mode. Audi is not like this.

Although I respect millions of races won by 911, I really don't think it's a good everyday car for normal drivers, unless it's a 4wd version, coz rwd 911s' bite and you never know when to expect it. On that subject, last week, I became GT-R fan too. There's no doubt that Nissan has the world's best computerized awd system. Just like 10 years ago. Nothing has changed. I loved the car, I enjoyed it so much. It requires very little of driver's input, the handling feels supernatural. But some people who like to feel more connected to the road don't like it. Perhaps NSX's awds will suit them better.

The guy who owned it even showed me the launch control. He knew about the gearbox problems and said he was going to use it for the third time. I was on the passenger's seat and it still amazes me how a car this heavy, with only 480 bhp can accelerate so fast.
