This is such a sad sad tale--when I first saw this with my 7 year old niece we both cried our eyes out. It's ironic too because I have a cousin who is name like the girl in this tale. This is a popular tale and the animated version and the movie version has been translated in other languages too. Thanks for posting the videos.

I believe there is a tomb in the version by Tsui Hark too, or at least some kind of burial ground (for Shan Pak).
