all u do to evade a zero is go really high up to the top, then come down steep. they cant climb as fast and when u come down, u come down behind hehe :P

@singningwongho In the game all you had to do was to bank. The Zeke would invariably start to turn, then you'd follow its turn and end up right behind it.

I never managed to shoot down a Zero or get away from them. They are always faster and as soon you are behind them, they turn. And eventually the carrier was sunk, too.

du hast mit deinen bomben fast mehr fische gekillt als Japaner :-) ach wie hat das spiel immer spaß gemacht, zum glück gibt es das auch als Emulatorversion

And yeah, after all these years it's nice to play these games again. Some are as good as remembered and some not.

Hmm, I'm sure I commented already with a long list of games I'd like to see, but it isn't showing here. OK, I'd like to see what you make of some of my favourite Amiga games: Zeewolf, Hunter, Virus, Carrier Command, Marble Madness.  I admit, a couple of them aren't 'pick up and play', but still...

And someone I know is really into vertical shooters, and wants to see some on the Amiga. How about Sidewinder, Goldrunner, Insanity Fight, Xenon.

Classic game, lots of fun. Some tips: you need to use rockets against the hardened (concrete) gun emplacements, the enemy aeroplanes under the netting (see your bombs bouncing off the nets?), and gun emplacements on the enemy carrier. For dogfighting with enemy planes, if the plane is behind you and you're facing left, tap the joystick right, and opposite if you are facing right. The enemy plane will turn around, now you can shoot it; repeat until you shoot it down.
