  • There is no sound in space comet would not make any noise.

  • @Pyware50 it's because it isn't a comet it's some kind of spaceship

but i agree that it could sound diffrent

  • @djorkid Sound travels in waves like light or heat does, but unlike them, sound travels by making molecules vibrate. So, in order for sound to travel, there has to be something with molecules for it to travel through. On Earth, sound travels to your ears by vibrating air molecules. In deep space, the large empty areas between stars and planets, there are no molecules to vibrate. There is no sound there. Also i love this video and understand how hard it is to do some thing lie this in UDK.

  • @djorkid No problem thanks .

  • @Pyware50

What if the comet has a dense enough halo of gas around it to give off it's own sound?

  • @xalener Good question but i don't know the answer.

  • Could you give a tutorial on this?

The views it would get would be... wait for it... out of this world.

  • @xKostyish Coz u put a smily face at the end im not gonna take offence by that XD

  • Nice one, is there a method to get the shadows on that station so soft or did you just use the defaults, its just that sometimes I get jagged shadows, I tried increasing the light map resolution and I created original UVs over the meshes after importing but they still sometimes have a little bit of a sharp edge to them. The ending is awesome, I wish the player had looked out the window a bit longer and watched things go by but still it looks amazing and was that I custom character I see ;)

  • @jdesilva89 wel i just put it in there made it dynamic and thats it
