The Barret is actually heavier than many LMG's to my knowledge. Last time I checked, a Barret weighs 11 Kg. That's a very heavy rifle.

i loved the barret in mw2. it just felt right with the combo of the power and the sound. but now I'm mw3 its the same as the l11 the both have good power but sounds don't match. i still have gold on the barret and msr (i don't use the L11) the msr is perfect combo of sound+power.but the as50 is the overall best combo

It's powerful.

It gets you more XP (you can place your shots better)

You use less ammo.

You die less.

It gets the job done with brutal ease and effectiveness.

@mrorangelightning i know why it`s because it`s to easy to hardscope, quikscoping or other kinds of shooting is harder that`s why people wan`t to do that and not hardscope. It`s just when you are a beginner you hardscope but when you play often with the sniper it gets a little bit boring so they try other things to make it still fun to play with.

@MagnumTriumph dude, snipers only one-shot in head,torso,neand neck, if you miss that it's a 2 shot kill, look the fng9, its 3 shot kill (feels like 1 or 2 shot, anyway) and shoots at 1034 (maybe fixed)rounds per minute though it have very short range. and type 95 have 55 damage per shot at point blank (maybe fixed to) and 20 at very far range, which means 165-60 damage per burst, if that's not overpowered, then what is?

See, IW got the damage with a silencer wrong, a silencer doesn't reduce damage. It actually only reduces range because of the bullet slowing down inside the silencer, giving it a lesser sound, and no muzzle flash. Trust me, I would know.
