My dog gets anxious when we approach the door and get ready to go to the dog park. I wait until she is calm, then I attach her leash. Then as soon as we step outside she goes back into that anxious mode and pulls me. Any help would be appreciated.

I found the whole video a waste of time there was nothing useful in it at all.

It explained what it was but it did not give you any tips on how to work on the anxiety

@missychryssy Tips: Don't encourage anxious state by giving affection or coddling an anxious dog. Don't leave your dog home alone unless it is well exercised and in a resting state. If your dog is anxious, don't have it around other dogs that will see the state as weak and dominate it.

@tallykita It's not a fact when you take a complaint about ONE method he employed in ONE episode for ONE dog with SERIOUS issues and make a post that suggests they disagree with his entire method and/or his attitude toward animals.

Either you're just trying to be a troll or you have seriously misunderstood the situation you reference.

@Virility actually they ARE disagreeing with his methods and attitude, not just this episode. I am not a troll, I train and rescue dogs and I have to deal with the problems he has created from people copying his actions on his show. His methods are outdated, and alot of the time abusive. He is unable to read dogs behaviour on even the most basic level, often referring to dogs as "calm" when they are fearful. I dont doubt that his intentions are good, but his methods are appalling.

my aunties dog was abused befor she got her and as she has gt older she has became devoted to my aunty and will not leave her side this is a inconvenience as my aunt is not up too walking her and when i try take her she will run and hide under a car and shake what should i do

It's between you and your dog... The dog always obey and they even love you more than they love themselves. So, if you have a dog that has bad behavior, the best solution is to find a dog whisperer or you yourself look for tips online, you can find a lot of tips about it.

@dreday081 I watched another video and they said try giving them a kong or a bone and put peanut butter in it. Also hide treats and toys for the dog to find.

I don't know if this helps at all, but my parent used to leave animal planet on for the dogs so they have some noise.

My dog is really anxious when strangers come, keep barking all the time. Not at other dogs, only humans. dont know what to do, the problem is not there, if we go somewhere els. Just at home. Even if the person stays here for days, she want come down:(
