It's really kinda stupid that they always potray Mystique as Magneto's second-in-command when in fact they've only met twice and even then they never worked together. Mystique just made her own group using the Brotherhood's name to carry out her own plans. *sigh* creative licensing...will it ever end?

But, getting to my other arguement, I heard and/or saw 2 version how Jubilee joined the X-men. 1. where she was living in the mall after her parents went broke. She was a some what rich kids in Bev. Hills. And 2. In the 1990's X-men series, (night of the sentinals) where she was an orphan, but no family keep her that long. My ? is, how'd Jubilee join the X-men? And how did Kitty Pryde Join?

Jubilee was living in a mall and was (i think) saved be Rogue, Dazzler and Psylocke.... at that time the x-men were living in Australia. so when the X-men returned to Australia through a portal, Jubilee snuck thru. She stays undetected for a while, and then saves Wolverine from being crucified by the Ravers. After that she becomes his "sidekick" and eventually joins the X-Men.

And Kitty was invited by Xavier to join the institute. At the same time the hellfire club also invited her to join them.... eventually she joined the X-Men (mostly because Jean telepathically made her family think that Xavier's would be better for her). Kitty ended up joining shortly after Jean (err... well the Phoenix-body-clone-thing) had died on the Moon.

lol. umm.. lets see... When Jubilee was hidding out in Australia, the X-Men at the time broke up for different reasons. Wolverine was alone and got attacked by the Reavers, whose base the X-Men were using. They attacked Wolverine and crucified him on this "X" shapes cross. when the Reavers left, Jubilee came out of hidding and help Logan, not knowing who he was. This was back in the day when, ya Wolverine had a healing factor, but it wasnt like crazy overpowered. It was cool.

But what kind of mutants were the Reavers? And who is the hellfire club and why did they want Kitty?

The Reavers were humans with robot implants and weaponery who hated mutants. Deathstrike (you know, from X-Men 2 the movie) was a member of the Reavers.

The Hellfire club was a group of rich and powerful (mostly) mutants who just want more money and power i guess. Emma Frost (at that time a member of the Hellfire club) was recruiting new mutants to join her "school". That's why she wanted Kitty to join. They wanted more members (kinda) lol
