  • What a cute little creature! It's great that the woman saved him, but sad that more lorises like this one will be killed. I hope there are organziations trying to help these animals :(

  • i want one :) hes adorablee

  • The loris looks happy, healthy and being well fed. He will probably live longer than if in the wild. He is being well looked after... :O)

  • Is it garlic it's eating?

  • I'm am sick and tired of people saying you shouldn't have pets like if you don't want pets that's fine but stop telling other people They shouldn't Ok.

  • @Camie36578 In every video like this I've seen, most people are bitching about it just because owning a Slow Loris is illegal in their counrty. I agree with you. I just want to tell people that if they don't want a pet slow loris, then DON'T BUY ONE! Calm the heck down and let people make their own animal companoins! Who they nurture and take care or is their business and you have no right to tell them that they can't love something. I'm glad we have similar opinions.

  • Please, all the people down there bashing the owners of this animal, read the comment above that the uploader posted.

  • I can not boast such a video ...Terrible, in these circumstances, should be grown in such a small animal .... shame ..

  • it tries to grab the fruit, but the closer it moves its hand, the further away it pushes its head. nawwwwwww there so cute

  • How come its ok to have a dog or cat as a pet but not one of these? Whats the difference?

  • @trollin4urmom Dogs & cats are mostly domesticated animals in the first place, unless you count Coyotes & Wolves. While dogs are decendants of Coyotes & Wolves most dogs over the last many 100's of years are domesticated. Cats with exception to the ferile ones are also domesticated animals. However, most wild animals such as the Slow loris were never meant to be captive or domesticated & are animals that do not do well in captivity. It is cruel to try to domesticate them.

  • I'm sorry I don't see the difference. How do you know that this animal wasn't meant to be domesticated. Keeping pets is keeping pets its no different if its a cat a dog or a lion or a loris. If you treat your pet well who cares?

  • smangione1 because people should grow the fuck up and realise that just because they think an animal is cute that they must OWN one, increasing demand bigness the price of these creatures to traders so more and more are removed from their habitats which can have terrible consequences for there Eco systems

  • i agree with chisinwinnie but why keep them in the wild some people want them as pets to have only to care and treat them with respect if they do that why can't they own one?

  • oh gosh, I thought the above comments were referring to what a slow loris tasted like o__o

  • @chrisinwinnie haha i thought yall were talkin about what the slow loris tasted like haha O.o

  • how much how much? my girl would go ape shit if i bought one! i live in Connecticut right about NY how much do u think one would go for?

  • @LeOgEcKoMaN idiot!!

  • SamuelRiv, we absolutely wish this animal was left where he belongs, in nature. The sad reality is that his parents were killed and he was captured by Hilltribe people, and who as sold to the woman who keeps him. She said she bought it so they didn't kill it. This is a shame, but the its what happened. We hope this video can get people to realize this: THESE ANIMALS SHOULD BE LEFT IN THE WILD. I appreciate your intention.

  • @chisinwinnie not necessarily, yea there ones that do thatBut there are some people called breeders. I don't know if you have ever heard of them are, but they probably leave the loris with its parents until it is old enough to be taken away. Not all rare or unusual animals are treated like that. And I have to disagree with leaving these animals in the wild. You may not be able to dimestcate them, but having them as pets can be pretty cool.

  • @minigolfer101 How can having them as pets be "pretty cool" when you just admitted the fact that they cannot & should not be domesticated. These animals do not do well in captivity. They thrive with nature. To keep one as a pet is cruel & irresponsible. Most people that do this with wild animals are usually being selfish & if they are breeding or selling them they are being cruel, selfish & greedy at the expensive of the welfare of the animals, & usually have NO real knowledge of the animal.

  • Endangered, illegal, stripped from its habitat (they aren't domestic-bred). If you care about this animal, take this video down. wiki: Conservation_of_slow_lorises#Pet_trade

  • why don't have freaking cut the damn food in small pieces. looks like he struggles to eat

  • @Littlerubbersquares I agree that some people dont know how to take care of them, But you also have to understand that they actually will live longer if taken care of by a human. In the wild its rare that theyll survive a couple of years because of preditors, natural disastors, and even lack of food/good safe shelter. In reality, the animals are going exctint bevause of deforestation and hunters, not because of these few people who take them in amd care for them. And you say they need

  • @Larie2792 They're going extinct in the wildbecause of A. the illegal exotic pet trade and B. because they are eaten in some areas. Some cultures also believe their eyes are useful in medicine, and others believe they are demons. Taking them into captivity to own as pets is okay if they're looked after, but not if you're taking hem from the wild population. They should be in zoos if thats the case.

  • Isn't slow Loris endagered? Why would anyone wan't to participate in buying/eating them?! Abusement of an animal isn't the only issue, the issue is some (most) owners with exotic (illegal/endangered) species doesn't know what the animal need, and even with the best intentions they can't tell it's NOT whats best for the animal.

Like people in the fourties thought animals needed clean bacteria free environments and did not know about many's need for compagny - which resulted in abnormal behavior

  • Its So Cute!! I Want One!(:

    He's Adorable♥

  • why would you eat him :( he so cute

  • the 1st uploader comment looks like they're explaining what slow loris tastes like.

  • can u buy thes animals at pet stores?

  • @jake247Y IT'S ILLEGAL!!!

  • I finally know what animal Mort is in Madagascar...

  • WHO TOLD YOU I WAS CRAZY!?!

  • Slow lorises are threatened by deforestation & the exotic pet trade, are hunted for their large eyes as local traditional medicine, turned into a wine said to alleviate pain, often eaten dried or smoked for food. They are listed as "Vulnerable" "Endangered" by the IUCN. An illegal pet in Japan and United States. Popularity due to YouTube videos showing them being tickled.

Google "slow loris + wiki". Read the wiki about them for yourselves...

  • where can I get slow loris meat?

  • @hazshep89 sick fuck!

  • in russia is every animal allowed as i know...

so it cant be illegal =P

ofc if u dont care about the animal its an other pont

dogs n cats are legal... but a lot of pple abuse them only...

so what its legal what illegal...

i dont need to know the lawe to know whats rigtht and what not

and if u take a lot care about your lemur im sure its okey

  • @SibirianHusky No it is NOT okay, slow loris is endagered, abusement of an animal isn't the only issue, the issue is some (most) owners with exotic (illegal/endangered) animals doesn't know what the animal need, and even with the best intentions they can't tell it's NOT what's best for the animal.

Animals doesn't just need food and water. Most need compagnionship from fellow species, certain stimulation and an environment humans just can't provide! No wonder so many animals are going extinct!

  • @LittleRubberSquare in that case humans should just be killed en masse and save these wonderful creatures

  • there is an animal or something in that blue cage behind him..doesn't look too comfy

  • mangosteen sounds delicious. the slow loris is adorable!

  • I am looking to raise these for meat, anywhere I can find some?

  • @darkdiamandvideos well considering that these are endangered...you can't, genius.

  • make me some jerky and u have urself a customer sir

  • It shouldn't be on a plastic seat in the middle of a town, it should be in the wild.

  • @Joshalidina Most likely it wasent owned by anyone :) Just came due to food maby?:)

  • @Joshalidina Totally agree !!!!!!!

  • Is it to cold to have a pet like this in norway ?? :(

  • Aw! It's little hands.. They're so helpless and adorable. God bless the animals!

  • ITS MORT

  • i agree or maybe just cute it up into tiny pieces but where can i buy one of those! i so want one theyre cute

  • Yeah... the poor thing was defiantly choking... give him a bottle till he can actually chew.

  • Yeah... the poor thing was defiantly choking... give him a bottle till he can actually chew.

  • aaaa ke lindo

  • so cute he got hands

  • Poor animal :'( It should be in the forest...

  • @Freddie130489 im not even sure how these things survived natural selection to this day, im sure it will have a much better life (not to mention a much longer life expectancy) living with these humans careing for it hand and foot. shouldnt kittens be out in the wild also? how about dogs? pet hamsters, rats, bunnys, turtles, ginny pigs ect... shouldnt they all be in the wild also?

  • @matthias2986 They survive because they lack natural enemies... I think you should read up on how these animals are treated before they are sold as pets. Besides, you don't know if these people care for it - they are night creatures and obviously it is day over there. Do all people care for their kittens or dogs hamsters rats etc? Yes bunnies should be in the wild. Dogs are domesticated animals, not wild animals like this slow loris. It's not that it could not be happy here, it's its history :(

  • @matthias2986 i dont agree with how the animal is obtained, only i despute the law saying you can not own one, i understand its not quite the same as say a dog or a cat as it requires more of a person to care for it, but people privately own exotic pets that truely are "wild" and should not be kept as a pet, my local pet shop owns a chimpanzee and everytime i visit that shop i truely feel bad for it as it looks like its going mad, shaking on the cage all the time =/

  • @matthias2986 i think if you want to own a slow loris you should have to obtain a permit or license after some substantial classes teaching how to properly care for the animal, also show proof that you have the means to care for it, ect...

  • Looks like a furry little chameleon

  • I really wish the people feeding this thing realised the pieces were way too big for its tiny mouth and very little teeth. You can CLEARLY see it having trouble eating them but looks like it hasn't eaten in weeks.

  • They are cute but people these animals are not meant to be pets they really are not! I was shocked, saddened & even horrified after spending just a few minutes reading about the slow loris. PLEASE keep in mind the slow loris is illegal to keep as a pet in the US and many other countries -that also means it is illegal for a Vet to treat this animal if it gets ill. If you do not have a Vet in the family the animal will die if is gets ill.

  • The only thing he manages to do fast is eating when the food has entered his mouth

  • stop buying these as pets.. please

  • @ejlavendercat read up there, most of these animals get alone, for some reason, and the most of the people kill them, so they adopted him:) (sorry whit my bad english)

You probably can buy it from the Asian Market, it is sweet but a little tart. Buy one and taste it yourself.

  • @chisinwinnie

    LOLOLOL

As I was reading from the top of the page, it sounded like you were talking about eating the animal!

  • @chisinwinnie why would you eat it it is so cute

  • @chisinwinnie Hahahaha, I read this first BEFORE reading the original question "What are they feeding it?".

So I thought you were talkign about eating the Lori :-)

  • @chisinwinnie it looks like ice xD

  • @chisinwinnie what is in that blue cage behind him?

  • @11808Clover mangosteen tastes like cow balls -.-

  • its a slow loris

  • i wonder how much slow loris' are worth???

If you need a laugh come check out "Girl Scout Silver" "Hot Girl Gold" "Knicks Bronze" and "Zelda Silver" in my channel...enjoy

  • I love its hands

  • its not illegal pet :(

  • elmatoro, they actually are illegal. they're an endangered species and also in order to be domesticated they often remove their teeth without pain relief which leaves them with infections. they're so cute but unfortunately not as pets.

  • That's rubbish! Sorry. They aren't illegal everywhere. It ISNT common the remove teeth without pain relief (or at all) to make them domesticated! Idiots.

  • @Experiment641

haha seriously, where are you getting your information from. there are hundreds of Loris protection affiliates with this information. I suggest you do some research. the places where they are most commonly found are just in countries where the laws are poorly enforced when it comes to animal trafficking.

also they quite often remove the teeth because otherwise they're poisonous. I study these animals for a living. I know what i'm talking about.

  • @hotelcoralessex15 My information? Actually it's from experience of the species, ta. Removing the teeth is bollocks, sorry. We don't rid of the hands and teeth of chimps, teeth and claws of raccoons, teeth and claws of skunks, fangs of spiders, fangs of snakes etc, Slow Loris' are NO different.

  • He looks so young. Where is his mother? Why is he on this plastic chair with traffic noise in the background? Should he not be sleeping in the daytime? I think a lori is a nocturnal animal. And should he not be in his natural environment, the forest?

  • im pretty sure it is not illegal in uk, perhaps without license tho.

Im glad he still has teeth

  • He's like "Nooo!!! My noms!!"

    God these guys are cute...

  • Cute, Cute, Cute, Cute, Cute, I love this animal and characteristics that are performed by this aniamal. I have never seen anything like this & I love it!!!!! Thoes eyes you just can't resist, so adorable.

  • We agree that endangered (in fact all) animals should be left in their natural homes if possible. We'd never try to import one of these creatures, but we were glad to see he was being very well treated. The trade in animals for "medicinal" purposes is reprehensible.

  • As 'cute' as this is, I hope you are aware that it is ILLEGAL to own these animals as pets in both the UK and US. They are an ENDANGERED species, and buying them as pets encourages the illegal trade and breeding of them in poor conditions and the MAL-TREATMENT of them.

  • really? ILLEGAL??!!

  • He is happy and content that he gets fed and gets to sleep whenever he wants. As well as getting pampered by his owners. If you were born and adopted into a family that loved you and gave you what you wanted why would anybody want to go back to a life that you never knew, and that was harder than before. The answer is, no one would.

  • You're a director and you can't see the bigger picture? Why don't you educate yourself on what is involved when these creatures are captured and exported and the amount of needless deaths and horrid conditions they face during their capture and transport. Removing them from their environment also vastly decreases the possibility of perpetuating their species. Take a good look at the whole picture, not just the benefit for a singular endangered animal.

  • @gnarlywrinkledwench i'm not a director, i came up with a random name that would fit youtube best. LOL

  • @DIRECTORperson225 Maybe beacuse it is there where they belong?

At the wildlife they would also have what they need. They have lived so until today.

It is because of that, that they exist, and not because of human.

  • @DIRECTORperson225 or if that life was potentily dangerous

  • To be honest, in the wild he has to worry about predators and if he will be able to get food so he doesn't starve. Now he has no worries whatsoever and eats, sleeps, and gets loved. He is in the lap of luxury. Do you honestly think his little mind worries about how he can be in open space, no he thinks about what nature programmed him for. And that is to survive and make kids, just like us humans were programmed when we were monkeys. But then our minds developed.

  • humans were never monkeys smarty pants i know that and im only 15

  • why isn't he in school?

  • shame on us.

  • This was in Mae Hong son Thailand. We wish the little guy was left in the forest where he belongs as well. The woman who has him bought him from some hilltribe hunters who had killed its parents, so she rescued it and babies him.

  • Why don´t you let this cute small animals live in their native country? This ist not the way and surrounding they want to spend the life. Why can´t people respect this? It´s really sad!!!!!!!!

  • eh..maybe because where they come from they're hunting them and using them for gloves and hats!

  • uh because in their native country ppl hunt them down and use them as fucking medicine. I think this slow loris would rather be taken out of its natural habitat than be fucking hunted for idiot that this this is medicine.....so really would you want them to just have their big eyes poked out and used for medicine to cure a fever that most likely will not work?....you are terrible in my opinion...

  • And in my opinion you are out of touch with the reality. So, why are you insulting me? I`m not terrible I only feel sorry for this cute animals because we cannot give them their natural habitat when we take them with us and thatŽs also cruel. And If it were up to you, what should happen with all animals like elephants, mountain gorillas, and so many other endangered species? Would you also take them in your house to rescue them? In this way you cannot improve their situation. - Au contraire!!!

  • Wow coming from a person with no solution. At least I have one you idiot.(1) On one hand you can leave them in their native land with a bunch of fucking idiots which use them as medicine or.....(2)take them in and nurture them whether its a zoo or somebody that is experienced in taking care of animals. Lets see what would be better for their wellbeing......I would have to say option number 2! I am not saying we should collect all of them but keep them under supervision and how they are doing.

  • you are obviously thinking in a narrow-minded way! That´s why you are thinking you´ve got the solution! Luckily definitetly no one will ask such a mental cripple like you for a solution...

  • Lol coming from the person with no real solution. Really you have know way to back up your accusations about me and you come out sounding like an idiot. I gave my solutions, how bought yours?

  • it is slow loris, and I guess its in Malaysia. or somewhere in ASian

the habbitat for this anumail is in the tropical forrest !

I am animal experts! I study for their living style and I build up a small foreest for them.

I got 3 of these before, but end up dead.

SO I don suggest u get one!

these cute creatures only can survive in the wild habitat, not like dogs, birds or cats...

  • Thank tollan23, it is very kind of you to tell me its really name.

  • hey where do you get one of those i want one!!!!!!!!!! they are so cute!

  • I think that's actually a Slow Loris, not a baby Lemur

  • Thank you, it is kind of you to tell me its really name.

  • @tollan23

    it is a slow loris

  • @yinnards indeed it is. I think this video was originally titled 'baby lemur'
