if a train goes from doncaster - carlisle will it come up newcastle way or leeds?

Thank for your comment. It depends. Most special trains take advantage of the scenic Settle -Carlisle route so a Doncaster - Carlisle would probably go via Leeds even if just one way.They sometimes do one way via the Tyne route through Hexham and Durham or via Shap.

It was! We had seats AA1 and AA2 in the first car after the support carriage. A great day, made even better because I won the number plate carried on the front of Tornado for the run...
