@MMBNM Well in its hayday about 2-3 years ago it was a much better place where all this comes from. "This" being moot, wt snacks, tasteful use of memes, Anonymous, and all that rot but now it's a festering necrotic cyst on the ass end of the internet that refuses to go away. I'm talking primarily about /b/ here but the other boards have their retarded qualities, /b/ is just the epitome of all that is bad about the site.

@tom1993rox I agree with you. I first came on in '07, during the TOUCHDOWN! THURMAN THOMAS days. And when WHEN I WAS was still going. Even then, I got the impression I was late to the party, as there were clearly several in-jokes and memes I just did not understand. However, I feel that even though back then people still said "REMEMBER WHEN /b/ WAS GOOD", it does hold some truth. /b/ has ceased to evolve as it used to, as its sheer mass of users are all vying for that same epic post.

I agree. 4chan just kind of lost its culture. No one cares about the writefags, drawfags, memes, Anonymous, basically all that made it a fun and interesting place. They were the ones who defined what we can only see on a youtube video with some nice music attached and no one can see that that is the problem. Now all it is, is scene faggots, you raff you ruse, rate me, and My face when threads everywhere. No one taking the initiative to make some goddamn OC in their fucking lives.

@MMBNM Well there are parts of 4chan that are actually bad, and people on forums like to joke that it's horrible since there's no moderation of discussions and they're derailed quite a lot, especially on /b/, which is seen as representative of 4chan for some reason. However, there are always one or two really good threads that last ages, and on every boards, since they're actually dedicated to an interest, decent discussions are pretty much the norm.
