  • i live in va and i never saw a tornado

  • That goes to show you that the most dangerous storms, mostly tornadic storms form ahead of the main line

  • i was standing in a field down the road when the one in driver hit i watched the whole things as the city went up it was impressive and crazy to watch

  • Good detailed video..

  • great now were going to get hit by a hurricane

  • i was lucky... i moved to montana a month before this happened..

  • yep, we're fucked....

  • I remember this one, Really scary.

  • Which radar was that you were watching at the beginning of the video? Haven't seen one online that gives you that much detail as far as the direction of the individual storm cells, very cool

  • I'm assuming you were somewhere on the James River during this? Just guessing from the terrain and scenery. Looks like maybe around Eclipse... am I close? Great video and great comentary. Truly a scary day for a lot of us.

  • huh. interesting. and your kid? that was cute. lol.

  • LOL...."Hi Storm Chasers" :)

  • That week was crazy! the tornado we had in greensboro hit us at night. that was scary ive been in tornados bfore but not at night. hope your family was ok.

  • I live in Suffolk, VA. in a trailer park. I am so fortunate that it didn't touch down in here. Everything would ahve been gone. But it did hit very close to us in several areas. My husband is in the navy and he and about 8 of his guys went out to help the tornado victims today. He, our 2 teenagers and I are going to help tomorrow.

  • My thoughts and prayers go out to all who have been in the path of these devestating storms...

  • Great Commentary. Was this not an amazing day! Thank God, no one was killed. I just think about if this storm formed a little more east, my area in chesapeake could have been easily under the gun.

  • sorry to say this but 200 people were injured and 1 was killed may god bless you guys!

  • That is crazy...we're from Richmond but lived in Suffolk (on College Drive) when hubby was stationed at Port Ops but I can't ever recall ever really seeing a tornado there...

I sure hope your home, family and friends are all okay....
