You download SIms 3 because the cider is inside the folders. You have to extract it out first.

- its meant to show the sims icon, your just making the software that runs it to run somthing else

@TheJimsterJim Crossover has a lot of problems working with Mac OSX's X11 code, because the translation between the exe and the system happens in a very open buffer sitting right on the system level. Because the Windows wrapper in Cider/Cedega is self-contained, it doesn't have to worry about compatibility with X11. Cider itself is already X11 stable, so it simply depends on what's put into it.
