  • i just gotta say, i LOVE you're voice. Lol.

  • @nataleh thank you! x

  • Thank you so much for this vid. All my friends went natural. And they keep putting me down saying because I wear weaves and wigs that I'm hiding my hair and trying to be something im not. I finally told them true friends support whether your bald, wear weaves, or natural. I'm sick of women of color putting each other down. It's my hair and my choice. I don't put my views on no one else. Thank you soooo much;()

  • @Babyphat7094 that's why i do not dwell on the whole "friend" thing. a lot of people are full of shit! thank you!

  • your surely welcome

  • just marry please thats all i ask lol when u coming 9ija

  • @MInorViper lol don't know

  • i feel you on the hair thing....my natural hair is like a brillo pad, so i cannot maintain a natural hair. I like my wigs and half wigs, i like to wash my hair after a work out so this is what WORKS FOR ME!

    Do what works for you

nice video dear, keep it up

  • @iyabeji1 thanks sis <3

  • Do you lady!! :) I love that you retain your own opinion no matter what! Thx for the tips etc.

  • @MrsMurphy35 <3

  • I wore a sew in for 7 months! Lol and my hair is about Armpit length lol so my hair is fine and healthy, BUT my hairline is ALL FUCKED UP lol because I have a bad habit of playing with my baby hair.

  • i would like to be natural but my hair starts breaking if i go more than one to two months without a relaxer....its crazy

  • @Missjleah1991 feel ya :)

  • u so pretty omg :)

  • @TheMchevalier thank you! :)

  • THANK YOU!!! people don't understand nigerian hair.... its hard to manage natural

  • @orchdkn ikr! no, thank you!!

  • i loveyourskin,,,its gorgeous!!

  • @ally1989ful thank you:)

  • You are wonderful for making this video. There are alot of natural people out there who believe wearing your hair natural makes you better than a woman with relaxed hair. Hair doesn't make the woman and thats what most fail to realize. Natural hair is very hard to deal with for some of us, I went natural for about 5 months and my scalp was sore whether I combed my hair or not :o( There wasn't enough time in the day for the required TLC, i work 12 hrs a day 5 days a week......

  • @Liber8tedOne3 true! and thank you:)

  • Right natural, relaxed whatever, if you take care of your hair it'll show, whether its relaxed or natural, I know ppl including myself whos been relaxed for years and has beautiful healthy hair, the thing is you just have to take care of your hair! Nice vid Peakmill!!

  • @Vaughnabaybee thank you! x

  • Going natural doesn't always mean your hair is healthy. It all depends on the individual hair texture and how they take care of it. Relaxers work best for some and natural works best for some. So stop w/ all the negative comments. How are yal gona tell her what works best for HER HAIR.

  • @Assata18 ikr! thank you! x

  • My hair actually grew longer when I began to relax. Most times after I'm done relaxing I warm up olive oil and grease my scalp w/ it. That keeps it healthy along w/ cutting split ends. Relaxing is only harmful if you relax too often. I usually relaxed every 3-4months cus I get sew ins often.

  • I totally agree. I used to be natural but I prefer my hair straight so I relax it. If I would be natural I would have to put too much heat to it which damages my hair. When I was natural every time I showered the steam poofed up my hair. That's why relaxing works better for me.

  • if relaxing hair is sooo terrible, then how can others grow it so well? relaxing hair isnt a benefit toyour hair but obviously its not that terrible. i was natural for a couple years and jut re realxed because being natural is more difficult and time consuming. just de tangling alone was such a flippin hassle.....

  • @007iLoveit i agree with you:)

  • this was hard to watch. I love your tutorials and true, natural hair can be difficult but you can have an afro with a tighter texture. You just would need to have patience, get the right maintenance and haircare habits and let it be. I think there's a stigma with tight-curled textures and I hear that all over this tutorial. There are plenty women here in U.S. with tight-curled natural hair that is long and beautiful. Stay encouraged and beautiful! Either way-weave or natural-it's beautiful!

  • @MissJP21 how do u mean hard to watch?? if u have my hair on your head then maybe you'll know. if i'm able to have patience and take care of my relaxed hair, what stops me from taking care of my natural hair. i'd rather cut off my hair than to go through the pain if there are no relaxers. to be quite honest, i don't like your statement. people act like they know but until the hair actually grows from your head, maybe you'll understand but it's alright. Thank you!

  • @peakmill I pose the same question: If YOU have patience and take care of your relaxed hair, what tops YOU from taking care of and HAVING natural hair? I said this vid was hard to watch because you said (and I'm not quoting you verbatim) that you don't wear your hair natural because the texture is too hard to maintain. You said you'd love to go natural, but your hair texture is basically what's stopping you from doing so. So my comment was in response to that.

  • @MissJP21 I am in no way knocking your choice or your vids. I am a subscriber and LOVE them! I'm not knocking you at all. Not every subscriber will agree with EVERY video. In this one, it just comes off as if you don't like your natural hair because of the texture. And yes, I do know and have experience with tight-curled "kinky" or whatever term people use for hair that is that that silky soft natural hair. It can be worn natural w/o probs. Just have to, as with ANY texture, find right products

  • @MissJP21 Typo: I do have experience with hair that is NOT that silky, "curly" "soft" hair... My whole family has various textures of hair...from the silky straight to the tightest kink. I've done hair all my life, thus is why I can comment on it with a basis of knowledge. Again, love your channel and will continue to subscribe, just didn't agree with this particular video :)

  • @MissJP21 never said you have to agree with me. I know that already. The same way goes for video makers towards commenters. I don't have to agree with every comment. you don't agree with the video and I do not agree with your opinion about me when it comes to my natural hair. Only I know what my hair is like and if others think they know enough about it than i do, o well! i have no problem with you, just with what you said and thank you for loving my channel and being a subscriber:) x

  • @MissJP21 you've totally got the wrong info from what i said. it's because of the pain that comes with it. period!

  • Very very right about the natural vs. relaxed...it's stupid. Plus most of the waist length girls I know are relaxed....so being natural and having long hair is ridiculous

  • @newlifetoday right! x

  • everything you said in this video is true and real :)

  • @tia3094 thank you!

  • the same thing happened to me when i moved here -__- i was sooo pissed like my hair wasnt growing the way how it did when i was living in jamaica... i really do think theres something in the water up here, then my hair juss got damaged i recently cut it and now its growing FINALLY =)

  • @msKahain26 glad to hear it's doing better now:) x

  • Comment removed

  • ur so right abt everything u said, the natural/relaxed thing is just total rubish also the weda thing, it delt wit my hair, its still recovng

  • @ABOABOish :)

  • that is so true about the american weather, my mom and aunt had long hair but when thy moved to america alot of their hair fell out and now they wear it like a mini fro

  • @bbyreece <3

  • Shame on me for missing so many of your videos sis!!!! Wow, I've missed so many and need to play catch up this week/weekend :( Your hair is always on point, and great video! xoxo

  • @MissDeenaDiva it's alright sis! thank you! <3

  • miss this vid, but maybe you could 3/4 wig me someday

  • @M1KustomGarage lol! you're funny!

  • have you seen the sh*t nigerians say videos? gurl they will crack u up.

  • @kenyagirl2009 seen all of them! :)

  • gurl $680 how does a broke college student like me get one of these lol?

  • @kenyagirl2009 save up like i did!

  • I love you girl...I'm just like you when it comes to hair...mine is at bra strap length..but I don't obsess about the natural vs relaxed thing...mine is relaxed but I take care of it and am known for that...same time I love my weaves as protective styles...do your thing girl...loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooving your style...

  • @Lin07Q thank you so much! <3

  • hey girl, first time seeing your videos! you're gorgeous (as you already know) and your skin is flawless... how do you maintain your skin though? any products in particular you could recommend? i still have spots (sad times!!) soo any suggestions would be appreciated.. thanks =]

  • @xSexiiChiicx thank you! check out my skin regimen vid:)

  • **3/4 wig

  • Have you ever tried a lace closure ??. If not . Could you PLZZZZ get one Andd maybe show howw you would use itt w a 3?4 wig ??!. PLZZZZ . (:

  • @nakoie not a big fan but if i do get one, i'll definitely add it to a 3/4 wig:)

  • You are soo for real and I luv it! I understand what you man when you say you don't care- you are not a slave to your hair and like india ire says "I am not my hair". I am like you in that, I like a variety of styles, and I do tend to keep my hair moisteried-but I don't stay on a schedule and stuff like that- F#$@ Destinee9211 obviously she is a LOSER with no LIFE!!

  • @Mydesignfind thank you! you just summed it all up! lol @ the last statement :) xx

  • Don't be so surprised!

    Your hair is really nice

  • @EmpressSakama16 thank you!

  • when I was relaxed I never had a problem with length and my hair grew to bra strap without much effort but now that I'm natural I find it harder retaining lenght and it has been breaking easilly purely because I was being lazy and not keeping it moistured and using way to much heat on my hair. The point is whether your relaxed or natural if you don't look after your hair it can get damaged, won't be healthy and you can have problems retaining lenght.

When will you be uploading your regimen?

  • @TheMsKinkyBeauty true! the vid should be up by the end of today and if not, tomorrow

  • can you do a sister tag video or sibling tag

  • @mcdonde12 nope! sorry! i don't live with them

  • Relaxed hair is unhealthy. plain and simple-

  • @Destinee9211 WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @peakmill you are ignorant if you don't realize how much damage is being done to your hair when you put chemicals in it. Wrong? no you're wrong... putting chemicals in your hair is damaging it. Our hair is not made to put chemicals in it.

  • @Destinee9211 i'm not even going to argue with you kuz it'll be totally pointless. End of story!

  • @peakmill Whatever. I said what I had to say.

  • @Destinee9211 lol typical ending. it's alright:)

  • @peakmill Whatever! :-)

  • @peakmill You are ignorant to the fact that relaxers ARE damaging/unhealthy. LIke I said, chemicals are not beneficial to hair.. What part don't you understand?

  • @Destinee9211 what the hell is wrong with this girl?? isn't this convo over already? yo, I can care less. Take care!

  • @peakmill If you could care less then stop replying

  • @peakmill Oh and by the way I love watching your videos because you wear weaves and I am starting to wear weaves as well. I do agree that it is used as protective styling for relaxed or natural hair. All I'm saying is that using chemicals (relaxers) in your hair is damaging and that is a fact.

  • @Destinee9211 that's not what you stated. you stated, "unhealthy" not "damaging". yes relaxer is damaging but to maintain the health of your hair, you have to tend to it. There are also environmental damages that hair can suffer from so whether relaxed or natural, all hair can get damaged. So technically, you're wrong..you should have paid attention to your wording and the logic behind the words lol. Anyway, I aint tripping. thank you!

  • @peakmill Whatever you do what you do. and I'll do me. Either way chemicals are bad for hair." Damaging or unhealthy", whichever term you would like to use to help you understand. It doesn't matter. Oh and technically im not wrong. Buh Bye!

  • @Destinee9211 lmao! nice chatting with ya:)

  • @Destinee9211 Don't be a hater, if you don't like it don't look and fyi i've been natural too and it doesn't matter whether you're natural or relaxed as long as it's healthy..

  • @kete93 Hater? Whatever. Relaxing hair is putting chemicals in your hair. I've used relaxers and I know its damaging to your hair. You think putting chemicals in your hair is healthy?? Wow. that is ignorant.

  • @Destinee9211 get a grip girl... So relaxing damages hair, sometimes its the lesser of two evils. my hair is healthy and i relax my hair but believe, if i didnt, my hair would be very damaged! Thats because my hair is sooo THICK naturally, it breaks very easily and that makes it very very difficult to maintain. With my relaxed hair i can manage it easily, and it never gets damaged. sometimes its the best thing to do for that individual and you can't make that decision...

  • Miss you are gorgeous! Very flawless skin I must say I am totally jealous lol

  • @simplylaceXO flawless skin? mmhn! thank you! x

  • I feel you on the difficult hair my hair is sooooo difficult! Great vid

  • @aphrodite1521 thanks:D

  • u look so pretty u remind me of trina

  • @JylaStyles thank you!

  • Subbing now! you are gorgeous!

  • @MSJAELO thank you! x

  • You keep it real boo, I love ur personality keep it up hun. I love watching you, I am going through the same thing I am natural, but want to relax BAAAAAADDDDD!

  • @DjussyK831 thank you! just do whatever works for you and your hair girl! don't feel pressured to do anything. it's just hair!

  • I love your make up. And I agree about that natural vs. relaxed thing. The odd thing I'm seeing is, my hair is natural and I've grown it, most people think its relaxed because of its length Really, long hair is about what your hair likes and just hair care!

  • @mimi1dream definitely! thank you:) x

  • lol i agreed with everything u said.. great video

  • @MakeupbyNesha thank you!

  • ME TOO...my hair jus got bac to the lenght it was before but I try so hard to make it get past and fall on my back I have good hair but I get confused with trimming my ends so it can grow.

  • @nayiba21 i just trim whenever my ends look raggedy now and that doesn't happen quite often because i don't do too much damage to it

  • your shoe collection in the back <333

  • This is a great video. And that is a beautiful necklace(:

  • @bmazinbby25 thank you:)

  • You are really funny in your honesty. LOL!!! If we could all be natural with ease we would. I've been off YT for a while so good to come back and find good/honest vids. Keep doing U :)

  • @Diggitydimples thank you!

  • You're so pretty!!!!

  • @BiancaXOBeauty thank you! x

  • @janafern yes that true she does reply that why i unsube the others they think they better .

  • okay Thank you

  • @Missjleah1991 welcome:)

  • THANK YOU FOR SAYING THAT YOU DONT HAVE TO BE NATURAL TO HAVE WAIST LENGTH HAIR. I APPRECIATE THAT. I'M RELAXED AND MY HAIR IS WAIST LENGTH AND FOR THOSE WHO QUESTION HERITAGE, I'M ALL BLACK. THANK YOU.

  • @FloridianWoman thank you for sharing! <3

  • Nice picture! Im still trying to decide what camera I want

  • @PrettyMissUptown thank you!

  • beautiful quality

  • @dyschickaqt thank you:)

  • I also came here with long hair pass my bra strapp, now its shoulder length ,something about the water or weather in USA that messes with your hair

  • @TheGirlygirl32 yeah i don't know but at some point, everything changes but it took yearrrrrrrs!

  • liked the fact that u were honest about the whole hair concept, and that u refrenced another youtuber that does go into details about hai. thanks

  • @MzVan21 thank you!! <3

  • u sumed it up well

  • @MzVan21 :)

  • i missssed you girl...hvnt been on this youtube since skool strted!!! very pretty!!

  • @smittty90 thank you so much! yeah school is getting in the way a bit. hope you understand:) xx

  • Your foundation and eye make up look really nice. Can you do a tutorial on this look? I love your new camera by the way. It's super clear.

  • @FWooten no problem! i'll definitely do a tutorial:) thank you!

  • oh! I forgot..lol your very pretty and wear that damn weave well

  • @ADORE7373 lol thank you! x

  • how bout texlaxing...it'll loosen the curl pattern but still give you texture =)

  • @lashawna07 That's what I do. I mixed equal parts of reg relaxer with conditioner and apply to my new growth and let sit for 5 minutes. and it works fine for me. I prefer my hair to have some type of body and thickness rather than thin. When you used straight relaxer. I used this method approx. 3 to 4 times a year

  • @msvalgo cool. yea i recently just fell in love with my lil waves lol so i might start doin this method too

  • @lashawna07 to me it's perfect. Despite i do have thick hair (naturally) But not when i fully perm my hair (thin for the st 3 weeks). But this method stretch my roots and keeps it thick. I'm scared to cut the relaxed hair off. Just maintain your weekly hair regimen and you'll be fine. TTYL

  • @msvalgo same here. i have really thick hair but the curl pattern that's coming in seems like nice loose waves...i kinda just wana leave it alone. I'm coming up on my 6 month stretch and honestly, i think im gona let it continue as long as i can take it.

  • @msvalgo Funny... It took us this long to realize the texture of our hair. geee wiz. i'm almost 5 mos post relaxer. I want to see more of my hair texture..too. Loving the wave patten also

  • @lashawna07 i feel like it's a waste of relaxer because i swear to you my hair is an asshole! lol

  • @peakmill lol doesnt hurt to try...well may hurt you're pockets a little lol

  • @lashawna07 i've tried several times and that's how i came to that conclusion lol. all i do is stretch my relaxers more and that way, i won't have to deal with my hair looking too thing or overprocessing. i'll explain further in part 2 :)

  • @peakmill gotcha

  • cool cam and you look beautiful... i agree with you on the relaxed vs natural thing. its all about personal preference l.. whatever works for you!.

  • @mscdb424 thank yoU!

  • dis camera ..vryyyyy nicee

  • @Abosexc1 thank you:)

  • Love d new camera n how you address the issue of hair people r just so funny.

  • @oromaoroma1 thank you! and yes they can at times

  • I understand what you mean a 100%! I actually went natural in 2010 and stayed that way for a year, my curls are so tight and really hard to take care of, and I honestly don't have time every morning to put on my hair..I've also noticed that a lot of afro americans have really soft natural hair unlike african(nigerian, ghana) which is really hard and breaks easier in it's natural state.I've been relaxing again for almost a year and I've made changes to my hair regimen, which I'm happy about :)

  • @ghanwin yayy! happy to hear that you got your regimen down..and you're right:)

  • OMG!!! I thot twas just me *rollin my eyes* I have a weave on most times, cuz in Ukraine where i study the winters r wicked!!

    P.S U look gorgeous :)

  • @MsFloralChique thank yoU! :) x

  • Yeesss exactly what I been saying and feel about this "natural vs. relaxed" shit... But anyways love the new cam.and your jewelry collection in the background lol

  • @ASHMINAJ17 thank you! <3

  • I agree with you, I hate how serious people are about being natural or relaxed. I was natural, it was so hard to deal with. My hair stylist says everyone can't do the samething with there hair. Being that my hair is so thick a relaxer just works better with my hair. My stylist cut my hair to right below my ear after she relaxed it from me going natural for 1 year. My hair is already down past my shoulders again and I've only been relaxing it for maybe a year, healthy hair is what matters to me.

  • @belushes exactly! as long as my hair is healthy, i can care less about the rest
